I didn't watch yesterday, so I could watch 3 episodes today. Looking forward to it later today! Yay!
Can I be resolute to do that next weekend? Even if I would manage not to watch Fri-Sat, then I'd have 4 episodes:))) I'll try but I don't promise anything to myself:)
Certain scenes have been cut, the intro and ending credits are cut, the little ending theatre is missing also…
Since WeTV airs both, my position is to give information to people letting them choose. But this is only my position, since, I can't know what's the best. And for me it's all the same, whether I watch one version or the other. The episodes just end and start at different point. I am watching the original + tv when it airs + going back to original when it's out. Because if I just stick with original version, I have to be patient, considering TV airs earlier. For the theatre scenes, I've double checked and they aren't cut.
Up to episode 9, is there a difference between the Original and TV version?
The online version is the original tencent version The TV version was adjusted to Hunan TV schedule and therefore the durations are different (credits are cut, and the ending of the episode, is the beginning of the next, compared to the online version). You can watch either version. Or if you want to do like I do:))) Watch the online original version + when the TV version is out (because it aires earlier due to copyright), you can watch the episode, and then, go back to online version either picking up where you left off, or rewatching.

May be when you are going back and forth, you don't necessarily see all of the scenes in the tv version, thinking they are cut. But the theatres aren't cut in the tv version, the credits are.
I can't find ep 10 with subs anywhere, what is going on?
When you go on WeTv, you can search by title, and you'll have both versions. One of the versions will say (TV version near the title). If you do not see this mention, then it's the original version. It depends if you are watching it on PC, a tablet or TV. You can also scrolll down to see the two versions. And I am telling you this, because for some reason the search doesn't work well for me these days on pc, giving an error.
You can watch the Online version. And combine with the TV version to just watch in advance some of the parts.
just wait for all the antis to shame txj when hyx comes out, we will have to deal with a lot of that
I wouldn't worry for this. I think they have good screenwriters and the story can be made great for TV. As to censorship, this drama is going to be a romance, because noone would ever take that novel to make it into something else. Whether in china, korea, or japan, there are no multimilian worth dramas that show romance in the same manner as in a short film. If this was only because of censorship in china, wouldn't we see a big korean or japanese bl production? I mean, people speak of chinese censorship, but not entering into details. If a drama costs millions, it is also intended to be watched by millions, and therefore, it needs to interest and satisfy a bigger amount of people. Chinese do not 'censor' romance. But film it in a manner that gives people the possibility to watch even if they aren't watching for romance between the male leads. Whether it is because of censorship, or because, as I said, these are huge productions, it doesn't change anything, in this respect. But the 'extent of the ban' is certainly not 'removing' romance. And it suffices to see one danmei adaptation, to see this after all. As to the plot. If I were to give my personal opinion, not only I think it will be changed, because after all, they can't film 100 episodes, but I think it's good that it will be changed. Because a book is different and it can have a million characters, many different antagonists, etc... And many plot twists. But if HyX would include all of that, I am afraid, it would be a little 'heavy'. Personally, and it is only my wish, I hope them to change by not having all the twists in the story, and all the antagonists that lead to the main conflict.
Let's hope and pray that it doesn't...... I mean l can't even imagine that.l feel really bad for Tool 😣
Why do you feel bad for Tool? I mean, so what if some people downvote it? What is it going to change? The only thing it indicates is what kind of viewers we are dealing with on mdl and also the site management.
Hyx?, no way for that to happen, nowadays ppl are much more craving bromance and ppl gonna love hyx. As for tool…
As you said, these days I spend more time on OOL page, and the behaviour of a person who simply doesn't watch or doesn't like is not the same as behaviour of a antifan. Because what makes an antifan act is 'hatred' (not my definition). There certainly will be a fair amount of people who'll attack and downvote HYX. I can only imagine the amount of nonsense we are going to read on this page from people who won't even watch it. I can even bet right now, what will be told, because these users have limited vocabulary and imagination:)
I don't think a happy ending would be considered a spoiler for this kind of drama. And in fact the Tencent synopsis…
I think you understood my phrase wrongly. I meant it's a happy ending and it is not a spoiler. But I'd still include a spoiler about getting married, please.
For those who have read the novel, can you SPOIL me and let me know if there is a happy ending for the leads?…
I don't think a happy ending would be considered a spoiler for this kind of drama. And in fact the Tencent synopsis says that they'll firmly stay together, and etrust their lives to each other.
You know that the term overrated is a very interesting term. In fact, many users on mdl use this word. I have never been to a high rated drama page, where it wasn't use. But to me, this is a little funny in a sense that, this term only means that the person does not agree with other people's rating, in this case majority's. But if we all agreed with each other's ratings, would ratings exist? I've rated it 10 only because mdl doesn't give me the possibility to give a higher rating:)
