I didn't know about happy camp. I thought that show was hilarious. I didn't follow all episodes or anything but watched when my fav actors participated. I'll check out the new one.

Happy Camp ? Day Day Up? Some other show? May be they'll participate in something for the fans... We'll see.

About the background. The world today isn't the world of yesterday. Whether in China or Korea, and I am also sure many other countries, many actors today do not come from 'traditional schools' but their path to acting is different. IU, Suzy, Lee JunHo and many others. Didn't they all start with bands? Xiaowen, chengcheng their path to acting is different, too, because the world is different. And also, not to forget that not having gone to a formal school, does not mean not getting good training. And all of these people I mentioned are the proof of that.

If you have an opinion about a drama, write without attacking.
If you disagree with someone's reply to you, you can voice your disagreement with logic and without emotions and accusations.
And if you want respect, you should respect others first.

What is MDL for? " .... discussing dramas and movies with other like-minded people, and make friends all while having tons of fun". And therefore, in a sense, people who share together can consider it a littel like a fan club, with a difference that on MDL not everybody shares their love or passion, or opinion. And therefore a page is for fans, and for however they want to use it, and for those who aren't fans, and use it according to their choice. And BOTH, should accept each others choices.One thing though mdl isn't for, because no platform is, considering hatred isn't what should move humans, is for anti-fans. And so that noone generalizes what I am saying, by an anti-fan I mean "a person with hatred towards a celebrity or icon (definition from wikipedia)
This is my understanding of MDL.

I will disagree that there was any aspect in cql he could have done better, because he was perfect. But however perfect he was, of course, from his own point of view he could have done better. I don't know if this is clear what I am saying. In any case, let's concentrate on the current drama:) What you said about scripts is absolutely correct.
My wish for him is to appear in a film in an international festival so that more people get to discover the amazing XZ. But my even bigger wish for XZ is to find and play the roles he wants to play...

But to be honest, I don't want them to confess as of yet:(
I want this 'first period' to last until one day they get together, but not now:)

Personally, I never get surprised at people's opinions, or get offended by them, because I do not expect to have the same opinions with everyone in the first place. But whatever we are doing, the place where our actions come from should be right. But it isn't always. And this is where I see the heart of the problem on mdl. Whereas you see it in a different thing.

Did he really need to improve? I mean, of course, an Actor learns every day and improves every day. But he was already phenomenal in CQL. Even actors with 20 years behind them don't show such transformation (even from one role to another), he showed in 1 single role. He is just extremely gifted and talented. He was born with the pre-requisites for a good actor, and one of this pre-requisites I think, that allows to create such characters, is his own inner self.

XZ has this ability to create three dimensional characters. And a rich inner world. And something that distinguishes XZ (amongst other things), is that his character is nuanced and he makes you wonder... This is pretty impressive.
And, without exaggeration, I always have a hard time reading subtitles with XZ, because I am afraid to miss an emotion, a nuance. And this is why I often watch XZ scenes without subs, to be able to concentrate on the screen.

The question is, do they have the qualification to mock? What do they watch? How they rate? My brain wants to explode reading comments about ratings, and then reading what they think of as good...
If a 10 star should only be given to masterpieces, as you said, then how many dramas should get 10? Exactly1?:)
But then, people coming here to talk about ratings, why do they have all kinds of unwatchable dramas on their page, that you can't even pronounce the word acting or character about? I wonder who gave them the impression that they have the qualification to judge other people's ratings?:)
But all this said, I think, we all know the answer to this. Competition and jealousy.
And therefore, as you said, we should ignore what should be ignored and discuss this lovely drama.

Your comprehension really goes is in line with your writing.

I am going to explain nicely too. Sometimes when we say something, we might write it for one reason, but it may also imply other things, without us realizing. You mentione that your phrase was only about how you found the drama, but your vocubulary 'hyped up', 'SPAM, is vocabulary that has pejorative meaning. In other words your vocabulary can be interpreted as 'criticism about fans hyping or rating'. If you didn't want to be misunderstood, I'm afraid you had to put hte phrase differently. Is this more clear as to what I am saying?

Even in your last comment you sound judgemental saying that people were hyping it (because that's not 'hyping' in the first place), but seems like you do not realize it yourself, and therefore, let's drop this. I already said what I needed to say.

I don't mind anyone's opinion, but I still do not accept when people include comments about me: 'hyped up by the fans and they kept spamming with 10 stars reviews'.
There have been many extremely popular shows on mdl that I have dropped and that I thought were really bad, but I didn't know I had the right to go on their pages and judge other people's tastes and judgement.
What you get hyped about and rate high, I might never watch, and what I get hyped about, you might not like. Because we have different tastes. But if I don't judge other people's tastes and ratings, I think I have the right to ask the same in return. Because, no offense, but I don't think other people are more qualified than me to know what to love, or how to rate.
