Lol, I feel the Psychologist had a great start but agreed it started falling short as well. But I guess we won't…
I have only seen one episode of the Psychologist, because I was curious to see the ml is in a drama. I don't see how we can compare the two, because Psychologist is also Suspense. And even if we just want to compare 'romance', the genre changes everything. I mean, the characters, the focus, the dynamics, etc.. People give recommendations for million reasons. Because of one actor (Yang Zi for example), because of ONE element, because they loved both, because of act-ing, because of how they felt, etc... These recommendations neither mean that the dramas are comparable (even one single element, since the recommendation might have been about a complete different one), nor that they'll have the same quality, because this is subjective, after all. I haven't seen psychologist to judge anything, and we can discuss that drama or any other, but I just don't see how the conversation is relevant with regards to this drama:)
They have literally nothing in common, this is a sweet romcom drama, with some tragic moments here and there to…
What I meant was that the way you spoke, would make people believe that you do not like romances, because even before you watch them, you think they are frustrating. But turned out you did, and it surprised me...
With such a doctor, can't blame the mom to try and grab him for her daughter 😁Actually, there is a footage…
lol A similar joke... I love Our Song with Xiao Zhan, so recently I watched the last two episodes of the program that were finally subbed. These were the NY episodes and they were eating dumplings they made. So at one point, people in the opposite team had to choose someone to feed them a dumpling. And one composer/singer (one of the coaches) chose XZ, but at the last minute got shy:) So the other coach told him, 'eat quickly, don't you realize the whole audience here would want to be fed by XZ... (something like that)... Aren't they just telling the facts? lol

I consulted your list because I got curious as to why someone would rhink that romance should be irritating. And to my sirprise, many of your high rated dramas are romances. Where they irritating?
For those who were discussing FL's father, this was posted on the drama's official page.
"There is a type of strictness called caring, and there is type of compromise called concern. Perhaps, the nature of fatherly love is duplicity" - The word duplicity here is in the sense, not saying what we are really feeling. Translated from chinese, so sorry if not 100 percent accurate.
Actually my father's like that too, he's very strict and particular wit my studies, keeps a check on my friend…
I was editing and it got deleted. But, yes, I mean, a parent isn't always understanding, or even supportive, etc, but then we are speaking of majority of parents, and loving parents on top of all...
A little more info TV version airs earlier on WeTV (12 pm beijing time) Original Tencent Version airs 22:00 beijing time You can watch one or the other, or even mix:). But the tv version was adjusted to tv, meaning, the episodes don't have the same duration. Though seems like no content is missing (based on an episode I compared), and what we don't see in one ep, we see in the next. But to choose one, I'd say, go with original/dvd version.
I think maybe this deserved to be without a spoiled as it will be a good guide for individuals that come from…
It would be revealing a spoiler though. Not everyone wants to know about novel or differences. Those who do, can simply open it, can't they? This is how a spoiler works.
Being impatient, I couldn't wait until the second season comes out. So, I jumped into the Donghua version. This…
Some users might be used to watching donghua/live adaptations that are the same and it works for them... But personally for me, this type of approach by itself means that the drama would be bad if it was like the donghua. Different things work for different people. I grew up watching european adaptations, and within these adaptations, animation and film of hte same work can be as different as comedy from tragedy...
A character in a donghua may be superhuman (as an example), but same type of character in a drama, will become a marvel-kind character, whereas the director/actor where going for showing his human traits. It's all a matter of interpretation. And this is actually why I absolutely love the character's here. Because each one of them is well interpreted, offering something unique... And this is how it 's done, for me.
I don't know what's viu, but isn't watching on an official channel better? You can do the same. Open wetv after…
Oh. I see. Thanks for the info. I checked it out. If you want to know which version you are watching, you can check out the duration of the episodes 2 and 3. If they are 46:41 + 45:10, then it's the original. But frankly, this isn't important which version it is:) Enjoy
The schedule for this drama is confusing as heck😅 I’m watching it on viu and since there’s only one version,…
I don't know what's viu, but isn't watching on an official channel better? You can do the same. Open wetv after 10 pm beijing time, and search for oath of love and pick the one where it's not written tv version. That's all there's to it. Of course, the choice is yours. This is in case it helps..

I want more:(
One part was sad..
But the rest was too sweet...
XZ is so different... I don't know how he does that...
