Since the online version is the tencent original version and the tv version is the one 'adjusted', (one episode longer, the other shorter, starting from a different point, or missing credits), then personally, I'd go with online original, if I had to choose one (but it's not about one being better than another).

Why didn't i think of this? :) But just to let you know, that when I click on the link I have an error message (this could be just me, since I noticed the pb yesterday on my pc). I don't have an issue on my smartphone or android tv, though. Anyway, someone else should test.
Why does WeTV say it's the TV version? Is there another version somewhere?
If you do a search and not click directly on the version you see, you'll see both versions appear on WeTV. TV version and online version. TV version appears 12 pm beijing time (because of copyright) Online version 22:00 These versions are edited differently. You can choose to mix when watching by picking up where you left off in an episode. Or you can just pick one version (the online is the original version), and then stick to the version. If you scroll a tad down, you'll see more explanations from MeowMeow and myself on this.
And therefore, I don't think your posts are opinions, because of the behaviour you've been showing on mdl for months. Desparately looking for attention and trying to annoy people around you... I won't go into detals of showing the pattern, by now many should have seen it. While accepting opinions is something to urge from everyone, tolerance against this kind of behavour is different Appearing on a page attacking everyone, and then playing an innocent victim..I guess this is your kind of fun... But, then you called everyone crazy, when this kind of fun isn't exactly what you call normal.
Can some people keep some perspective about platforms? Before chinese offering official platforms like wetv/iqiyi/youku and many others, available for international users, we could mainly watch asian drama on dramacool/kissasian (some others before them:)) and sometimes on viki, but viki has limited options. Do people see 'strict schedules' or information on unofficial sites?:) And these sites aren't really aesthetic, to put mildly.Terribly annoying. Not speaking of quality sometimes. WeTV aring both versions is something to be happy about. Because I can watch one and then the other, or just choose one. What difference does it make, how many options are there, if we choose one? For example, a viewer can just open the app after 22:00 beijing time, to watch the same version:)
I have a serious problem:) I have important things to do and I am sitting watching a drama. I need to be a little more responsible today, and finish the stuff I need to do before watching the upcoming episodes:)
I often wish that entertainment-wise, I could live in China...but how would I ever get anything done?
Information about the difference between TV and Online Versions. I compared episode 2 of the two versions. The durations are different, because 1 - the TV version didn't include the opening and ending credits 2- There is a scene missing in the end of episode 2, however, episode 3 starts with that scene...
Initially when wetv said that there are two versions, they explained that the TV version was adjusted to TV requirements. And they also used the word 'cut', but I don't think it meant any content would be missing.. It could mean that the contents is edited differently (or credits missing is also 'cut').
In any case, people can watch one or the other picking up where you left, and I don't see any issue with this, and might do this. Or, they can just stick to one version.
EDIT. Please remember that noone every said this is about 'censorship'. Cut for TV can be for many reasons, such us duration to fit the TV program, etc.
TV version will air EARLIER (🍿12pm🍿 beijing time) on wetv (copyright issues) but (EDIT) the episodes are…
TV is different from an online platform like tencent, because it needs to allocate time based on the overall tv programme. The contents is arranged differently to meet the tv schedule and requirements.
For example ep 3 of tv version is 35 minutes versus 45 online version. But episode 4 includes that part.
Therefore, either you can watch both, picking up where you left, or if you feel confused, then choose either or...
Which version should I watch tv version or original? What's the difference?
TV version will air EARLIER (🍿12pm🍿 beijing time) on wetv (copyright issues) but (EDIT) the episodes are arranged differently (there was a mention that the episodes might be cut, but I don't know about the accuracy of this information)..
The original version will air at 🍿22:00🍿 beijing time. It is the full online tencent and dvd version. Not sure if wetv will follow the same schedule (about the number of eps) as tencent, but in any case, all viewers have to do is choose a version and go online starting from the time mentioned.
Just finished eps 2-3 and can't wait until tomorrow! I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking knowing the genre,…
When you are saying, considering the genre, you might be considering the ones that aren't always great. So I understand what you mean. But I also want to defend the genre, because noone has defined that by definition a 'thriller' is better than a 'romance':). As an example. There are extremely nice dramas in this genre. It's also romances/dramas (also melodramas), that made asian drama famous or loved in other countries. I remember reading once how the korean winter sonata changed japanese people's perception of koreans I have some favourites in the genre, known or not so known, that are really great.
I've watched a lot of romcom dramas be it Chinese or Korean but this one's a bit special, I don't know how to…
The drama being asian, might certainly show asian family culture more, but in this case... In ALL societies, eastern or western, parents do not always understand or accept easily children's aspirations, wanting the child have another opportunity, profession, job, etc.. And this might be more true when children want to choose a profession that is not considered 'stable'.. And here, in this drama, it's a loving parent, too. Just that they don't understand or communicate well with each other, all the time. This is called a family. This was hundred percent credible.
Ep4 for tv version just released. I’m soo confused either to watch original or tv version. Original version…
If you're impatient, you can watch tv version because it'll air sooner (copyright), but if you are patient, you'll watch the episode with 10 hours difference, known ng you'll get a little more contents (the difference on ep two i checked was about 4 minutes).
@WeTVThere are two versions on WeTV. The online (Tencent) version + the TV Version (Hunan)Due to copyright restrictions,…
I don't usually watch this site, but I opened right now and both versions are there. May be you didn't notice? Right above the episodes, it says tv and dvd. Dvd is the online full version.
But just to let you know, that when I click on the link I have an error message (this could be just me, since I noticed the pb yesterday on my pc). I don't have an issue on my smartphone or android tv, though. Anyway, someone else should test.
