The number of episodes isn't displayed on viki when i'm checking. Do you have the link to the web version. In fact, none of the non airing dramas shows the number of episodes on viki.

As to the drama, I haven't seen a danmei adaptation myself that wasn't a romance. Of course, there are more or less romantic to me. But to be fair, I also have to explain that these adaptations are filmed in a peculiar manner. Which is to to give millions of people who might or might not be into watching a 'bl' a way to watch them comfortably... If it's a romance, you want to see, you won't miss it... If it's not, and you do not believe in romance between men, then you might think differently of the relations. Or, you might want to watch the drama for an altogether different reason, not wondering of the nature of the relationships. And intriguing plot, for example...

What does it mean chemistry is great regardless the genre??? Is chemistry supposed not to be good in a danmei adaptation?:)) Or how is the chemistry better in Killer and Healer than the other adaptations. I don't even dare bring in TU in this conversation... About music, cinematography, chemistry in Killer and Healer... I won't agree, since the drama was worth watching, but didn't impress me in these aspects. But what I was saying isn't 'why are you recommending this drama'. But I just don't get how from TU recommendation you went to Killer and Healer.. They are different like night and day. In case you forgot, we are on TU page. If I answer an inquiry on K&H page without writing anything about that specific drama, directly recommending another drama, very different from that one.. I don't think it would make any sense. Despite our opinions, there is also reality, global reception, accolades, records, statistics, INFLUENCE, facts, that can't be denied. And therefore recommending one, isn't the same as recommending the other. Because the chances of the viewer agreeing with me or with you after watching isn't the same. Killer and Healer is so different from TU, that I started replying to you several times to stay speechless in front of the PC:))))) Let's say, all danmai adaptations are worth giving a try. But I wouldn't ever recommend someone to start with Killer and Healer. May be just give it a try one day and see if it's for them...

Impatiently waiting for the next adaptation, of course. But I also realized a few days ago that HYX has been filmed 1.5 years ago and that this period, in reality, isn't 'worrysome' by itself when it coms to postproduction. Postproduction of a 2 hour film can take as long as a year, or more. I think, we also become impatient because of constantly worrying about China not airing these adaptations. Some of these worries are founded, but some aren't at all, since they originate from rumours.
I am going to be very optimistic to think that this year we'll get to see 2-3 adaptations. Waiting for TGCF, Chasing the light and Immortality.And I also hope, that I won't just get to see them, but that they'll surprise me...

It has happened to me to even drop a 1.5 hour drama, after 10 minutes of watching:) And I've watched dramas that have more than 50 episodes in one breath. As to this one, I've watched, rewatched many times, and can't wait to watch again...
It's an incredible drama. An entertaining piece of Art:) Do yourself a huge favour and watch it.
This is a function on mdl, but for some reason, I have a feeling it is more used by those who don't care for danmei, than by those who do:))) Anyway, by clicking on 'Vote or add tags', you can vote down for bromance, and suggest other tags, etc. Not that this is essential, but it's a little disturbing seeing a bromance tag on all danmei adaptation pages, where there isn't even a romance tag... Completely illogical, in my opinion.
The drama hasn't even aired, yet some users already created a 'bromance' tag and voted for it... For a drama adapted from a Romance.. Hmmmmm.... Makes a lot of sense:)
