If you want to know if it's a happy ending, see my comment below marked as a spoiler. This was an interesting watch.…
People in love are always codependent. Art/cinema aren't there to promote relationships but show a perspective. Not understanding that perspective is exactly going to lead to such labels as unhealthy relationships. On top of all, cinema is said to be a 'beautiful fraud'. Analysing characters should come with undetstanding as to which part is cinematic processing (especially when it comes to japanese style). Truth be told, I am writing all this, but I am pretty astonished that this type of explanations are necessary, especially when it comes to this cute little romance.
Even though ratings aren't important, because they don't change anything, but I still think it was better when mdl was more transparent and we could see the number of people and the percentage per rating. This was informative since we could see tendencies in voting for kdramas versus cdramas or jdramas, for dramas with male leads verus m/f leads, etc. I hope MDL would consider going back to transparency. And if I were to approach from another point of view, and even leaving CQL aside, for example Utsukushii Kare having highest ratings and popularity on some platforms, but evidently being downvoted on MDL... This doesn't speak of dramas but the type of viewers and the site itself.
I haven't watched a lot of Kdramas but my sister does and there are times that I get to peek and see bullying…
Do you know the expression "Heard the bell, but doesn't know where it is"? Basically, the meaning of this saying is that someone heard something somewhere but has no idea what it means. (like a child who'd listen to an adult conversation, interpreting a phrase wrongly, and thinking he knows what's it all about)? Someone using the phrase stockholm syndrome about this romantic drama, is exactly when you'd use this phrase. Don't know who it was, but I think they should know, that sometimes, it's preferable to keep silent...
Some people saying it was a dark theme series but i watch it 3 times and i still didn't find anything dark in…
If someone writes on this page that this is a fantasy, or a thriller, or action, are we also going to discuss this seriously?:)
And please, everyone, let's not bring in the Novel into this, which is as lighhearted and lightful. I am reading it, but wasn't the site and the cover enough to know this.
And on a separate note, I would like the fans here to realize that, the first time I read the wor dark on this page, it is from people who want to disagree. Which brings me to remind, that repeating means spreading even if we are to refute. Those who haven't seen the drama, do not know me, Hhhyaya, Ginger Ale, or any other person in this thread, and therefore, logically, they have no reason to believe any of us. If we need to refute, we can do it directly, under a post we read or may be eventually immediately after, if we do not want to bother with the person who wrote it. But repeating (and I can see 3-4 people repeated it here), does not always help to refute, and has the absolute opposite effect. I am not telling anyone what to do or not to do, but I am sharing my concerns since we are all fans here.
What a sweet story!, I especially loved episode 5. It was also very beautifully filmed and the actors did a great…
Finally someone said it:) I mean, since I have watched far more korean dramas than japanesse, it's killing me, every time I see the word bullying here. Especially, that novel is a little different in this sense, but in the Drama, there isn't any 'bullying' in the pure sense of this world, since from the very first moment, it was clear that some actions had a different meaning. And I don't even think a spoiler is necessary for this, because it was clear as day. And, this reminded me of something I needed to say. Hira NEVER mentiones in the drama being bullied, on the contrary. He mentiones from the beginning how he was invisible, and how after the introductions at school, he was left alone. A text from the Novel "The always absent-minded Hira was considered harmless and was not bullied. Instead, he was treated like invisible air. Yama-chan, who occasionally played with him until elementary school, joined the soccer club, suddenly became refined and now pretends to not know him when they pass by each other in the corridor. Finally, he became invisible even in Yama-chanβs eyes. An invisible man" Even though, writing this, I also don't mean this is to be taken literally. Bullying can be understood also in different ways, and in the Novel, there are Hira's thoughts about it, that are very interesting,. But what I am trying to say, is that when it comes to the DRAMA, the word bullying isn't appropriate or accurate in any way.
The plot is really good but I think it has too much episode and some cg are quite bad. I enjoyed watching it!
Could I aske you a question? What is your definition of a good cgi? Which are the films you watched and thought had great cgi? Asian or non Asian, in doesn't matter. I am just curious, if you don't mind.
I forgot I shouldn't writte this type of posts, when people are impatient for a drama:(((( I just meant we are in the beginning of the month, so who knows, may be we can open mdl one day and see news that immortality will air. This is a WISH and not information:( Sorry if it was misleading.
But LCR already recieved it's distribution license right??That was a hot news last year Dec.Actually I didn't…
Films do not alway record sound on the set (i believe the term is synchronised sound. Depends on the set. For example on historical sets, there can be too much noise interference from equiment. And therefore, the drama can choose dubbing, meaning recording the sound during post production. And the cost, depending on conditions and the rest, can be different, too. There can be other reasons for dubbing, for example if a drama is to use voice actors. They are professional in the field and have a long history in these areas.
