Whatever happens in the novel links only back to the theme love. I really wander, how they're going to turn romance…
A production team would never take a novel like 2ha to make it into a 'bromance'. It's certainly going to be a romance. I don't know about others, I can even see it with the few videos from bts:) Of course, the contents might be 13+ like the other adaptations, which means without mature contents. We'll see? I can't want to see how it will be adapted to a screen.
u can stop giving excuse to validate this drama cuz us novel fans aint convince
You think your opinion 'counts' so much that someone else needs to 'validate' anything?:) And I don't think that, whatever opinion you may have, you can claim representing 'novel fans.. Consider blocking?
For the context, you may check the 1.0 rating reviews given by CQL hardcore fan for the sake of "balancing" in…
The first thing to do already would be not labeling viewers 'cql fans' or 'woh fans' or this or that drama fans. We are all supposed to be 'drama fans' even if we love one drama more than another, and have our preferences.
Of course this drama doesn't deserve a one. Credits are enough to see this. Are you sure t if we check the statistics, there wouldn't be viewers who have rated cql low because they love woh? If people follow this mentality and enter these 'games', all I have to say, they are as immature as those individuals that downvote a drama for the sake of another.
I saw a comment on this page I didn't really appreciate. I could respond directly, but I wanted to write a new post to address everyone. It said something about cql fans rating low this drama? What I am going to ask to please not spread information you can't be sure of. Here's some statistics. Months ago, way before woh aired, I checked stats on most popular dramas on mdl. And Nirvana and CQL had more '1's than any top rated drama did. This was discussed on cql page. Chinese top rated dramas are often downrated. Not talking of the fact that danmei afaptations may get low ratings for known reasons. Starting last spring/summer, many of us noticed that similar negative comments came from new accounts. Check other cinese drama pages? If there are new accounts today writing negative comments about cql, should someone go ahead and blame 'woh' fans?
Personally I think most of the peopl who appreciate one of these dramas, will watch the other. If there are some immature individuals that are goung to turn this into a competition, let them be. But is there statistics showing that the downrating is coming from the fans of any of these dramas?
Viewers who appreciate CQL or WoH, or KaH, should be solidary in promoting these dramas together, as well as all the upcoming adaptations. Otherwise you you might end up helping those who downrate all of these dtamas for wrong reasons.
I loved it when I watched it first. Then I watched Soul Land lol twice and not reading the novel. This solely…
I am trying hard but I still do not undetstand your reasoning. Imagine how many users here have seen the.... disney little mermaid (for example), and loved it. And then, one day they read the little mermaid, find out the cartoon is different than the book, and then what... Suddenly they should think that the cartoon isn't nice any more??????? Or should we compare ithe disney animation with the russian one and think that one of them sucks because they are different like night and day? One is happy, the other is sad, for example... For a work to 'suck':) you should see it as you watch it, withou ever comparing it to anything.. And I have never undetstood actually how it is even possible to compare a film to an animation considering they are different forms of art. I won't discuss this though. Because the idea that the film should be 'like the novel' is a very 'simple' idea for me, in the first place. Therefore, there might not be a way to come to a common undetstanding.
As you have read the novel, can you tell me if this is actually gay romance. Cuz I am not able to believe that…
Yes, It is a romance between two male heroes. Since I love the book, and the characters, in my opinion, he is lucky to have gotten the role. Like any other actor would have been...
Since we are all here waiting anyway.. :) I would like to share this very interesting, only 2.5 minute interview, with a novelist who speaks about what constitutes a good adaptation for him. What can be more interesting than an author's perspective on this? And he mentions names that you'll know, like Tim Burton, for example.
And I don't know the actors, but they seem like they could be perfect for the roles...
And it's certainly going to be a Romance...
I like happy camp too. That show is hilarious.
Can't wait...

An author's perspective as to what is a good adaptation and how authors prefer sometimes the adaptations that are 'different' from the book.
A 2.5 minute video for those who wonder about'what's a good adaptation'...

No words... Only emotions..
