I know we're always talking about CXX LLD, but just wanted to say how much I loved CMC as CF. I don't think I can see anyone else as CF besides CMC. All of his cute and mischievous facial movements made CF so irresistible. His crying scenes were extremely touching. I hope to see him lead his own one day.❤️

Yeah, some of the visuals are pretty but I personally don't like the makeup either. The bad makeup makes BL look unyouthful and she has a baby face. Lol

We're still talking about the same drama. Lol I had to literally turn off my brain, though. But I sort of dropped it at this point because I've been busy and I don't like it enough to find time. TSL was my energy to power through when I only got 3-4 hours of sleep but that other one, I'll put it on hold for now, too.

I agree with Avenue X's reviews of this and the other drama. Lol I knew we weren't the only ones questioning the weak storyline. Like everything is done to create extreme pain and angst but if it don't make sense and have a strong foundation, it falls apart later.

I'm so happy that CXX seems so happy, as he's never been this active on Weibo. Perhaps, it's taking longer for him to confirm his next drama because he has so many choices now.

Finally, the other drama is picking up for me though, still has its flaws. But I really want Niu Di to be in an angst type drama, too. With their great acting skills and chemistry, they're gonna kill it. Too bad, people in general don't take comedies like this drama that seriously.

Piggybacking off of JJJ's question below about callbacks and parallels in the drama, it'd be funny if YT was able to kidnap YQ like how she wanted to in the beginning but for herself now.

Episode 30 for the main leads, You Qin and Ye Tan. Episode 31 for the second leads, Chao Feng and Qing Kui.

15. YT's dream of playing chess with her father and QK when she got poisoned by the Void Frost from Ying Zhao and then when the family patched up later, they really did play chess together.

16. When YQ gave YT the star and wished that she'd be that quote he said and she fulfilled it.

17. YT wanted to be the baddest Void Devil in the beginning and she did towards the end.

Very well put. Anyone can learn and take away so much from this drama because there are so many well written relationships that can transcend through time and be applicable to today's modern world of love. This is really how true love should be. Be with someone who inspires you to be the best version of yourself because everyone deserves genuine happiness.

There are so many cute moments but I loved it when during the group's last live together to celebrate the success of the drama, Landi was asked about another talent she had and XingXu's reaction was hilarious because she showed him and the fans her last talent which was the finger counting and at that time, he was already like what the? Hahah but still continued to learn it from her. This time, she said she can move her ears and he was like who can't do that? He was like, if you can do it, I can do it. And then they proceeded to move their ears together as a shared talent like the rest. That little interaction right there shows how close they are.

Yeah, the book seems so much more intricate regarding the relationships.

Yas, to see a yulan hua in CXX's hand like Lamu, it's giving all of us "missing his niang zi" vibes. Haha. There's so many meanings with that photoshoot.
