I like angst too but it has to make sense. I mean, I can excuse a blunder here and there but if there's no foundation, the angst is sort of meaningless. Lol

I'm going to be short but in TTEOTM, there are a lot of the scenes where I question the logic and how between the leads. How they fall in love with one another?? Lol Like..ughh, I'll just leave it at that. At least in TSL, all the scenes amongst the 5-6 pairs make sense and not forced just for the sake of future angst.

For reals...and you know what they say, you look the best when you're in "love". Hahah.

Yes, this drama has seriously changed my eyes and heart. I can't watch previous or future dramas the same way. There's substance and genuine weight in this drama, whether it be the cast, story, or acting, so its success is more meaningful. Others, big names bring hype but you can definitely see the difference.

Yeah, I get you. They seem inconsistent but again, I don't think they need to show us all the time that the twins share the same pain. They show us once or twice and then just mention in passing is good enough.

I don't think becoming an immortal is simple but I don't think they needed to explain the whole humans becoming immortals either because it has been plenty of times in other xianxias.

Yeah, it's hard to say. I honestly thought I ran into some rumors that ZRN was filming something else. I gotta double check that.

Yeah, I see. But I think whether they showed QK feeling that pain or not in Guixu, it wouldn't make a difference, so they skipped it. The scenes that they showed the shared pain added to the plot such as the very first scene that established their connection in Episode 1 where their father yelled that if YT and QK didn't share the same pain, YT would've been dead already, the writing on their arms, when Ying Zhao took a blow at YT and almost killed her and froze her in her dreams to make MYQ realize his love for her, to Ying Zhao again knocking YT out before the shards united, the shards had to unite in their love and concern for YT and etc. 40 episodes almost seemed too short to include everything, so time was restricted. I think they shouldn't have cut out all those scenes which is dumb that they aired this drama and had to do all those cuts to fit.

Oh, I just get excited when I see CXX or LLD rumored projects because that means, I'll see them more often in the future.

As for the weibo posts, it's more based on word play or avid Niu Di fans like me that play on their posts, not anything concrete. But I have to say, CXX is so active on weibo lately. Hahah.

Yes, that one. I know Niu Dis are working hard on pushing for a second collaboration. Hehe. Who knows...it may work. There's still a ways to go. And like the other modern drama, the female lead keeps changing. It's no longer Esther, it's rumored to be ZRN, but isn't she going to be filming something else too? Just let it be Landi. Lol

Yes, the twins were born into human bodies this lifetime but they're basically immortals, spiritually.

But in case they weren't immortals like how the story was told in the beginning, basically, mortals can cultivate into immortals.

Scenes showing that YT and QK share the same pain was to let the audience know that they have a special connection as twins. Once they established that, they believe the viewers are smart enough to figure out that the twins still share the same pain even if the cameras aren't always showing QK going through YT's pain. They only showed the more important parts.

I think that is more of a production hiccup. The screenwriter is pretty detailed and thorough, so I'm sure whatever questions we have were answered but didn't make it to the final cut and ddefinitely not aired. We have to keep in mind that 5-10 episodes were cut out, so the thorough explanation could've been part of that. They did do mini explanations that mortals can cultivate into immortals. I think the post production may have found that repetitive because we all know that in other xianxias we have watched and even know of some characters that were once humans, were really good people, and became immortals through cultivation or some special drink or magic. I don't think TSL needs to reiterate that.

I think the Iridescent Eyes internally restrict Ye Tan from physically doing things by giving her pain, but it only affects YT and not QK because it's not an external force or blow.

So in that video where Landi hangs out with Shen Yue just recently and Landi got pooped on by a bird? Haha, I started laughing at work so hard, almost dropped to the floor when one of the comments on Weibo was Ye Tan aka Landi ate too many tea eggs, so she was bullied by birds. Omg, even the universe has watched TSL. Haha.

And then the rumored CXX project for 2024.

Landi is sooo pretty in her most recent photos. It reminds me of when CXX said, "Landi hao piaoliang." Hahah.

Ooops, I keep forgetting to add YQ and YT. One of my most favorite funny scenes was when YT kicked WR, stuffed some pastry into his mouth, and drew on his PRETTY face. Hahah.
