Yay so happy that the amount of viewers who are members have passed 10K here. Honestly, if this production wants to really milk us, they should do a Blu-ray set of the drama with all of the BTS and specials subbed. I'd buy 10 and do a raffle or something here. Lol
I agree, the rating is much higher than I believe it deserves
Yeah, not everyone is going to thoroughly enjoy this drama like the majority of us. I love this drama more than any xianxia ever released and we're going way back to the Li Xiao Yao days with Hu Ge. I'm one of those odd ones who couldn't get past the first few episodes of Nirvana on Fire. I had to drop it again and again and it was a huge hit all across, actually, an epic drama and Hu Ge, too. Haha, so I totally understand people who may not enjoy this drama. It just isn't for them but that's not to say that it doesn't deserve the rating. I think the rating should be higher, too.

I'm staying away from all dramas right now even the ones with CXX LLD because I don't think my heart is in the right place to watch them yet. I'd be unfairly judging them wishing it was CXX LLD together. Haha. I don't want to prematurely miss a drama because of my biases.
I would consider it open ending that imply it will be happy eventually. But I didn't find it satisfying as I prefer…
In my heart, we know they filmed a happy ending. Why else would they film YQ going to all 4 realms to find YT? It just doesn't make any sense. I think this production company got greedy and if they won't release the special episodes to us, it's because they're probably planning a second season with or without the original cast. The drama itself can bank off the name. In recent years, Chinese dramas have been notorious of doing open endings just to do second or third seasons.
