It hits you rather harder in the drama when you see him being in love with her from so early, than it hits you in the novel when everything is mentioned in the end. At least i disliked MY big time until that last explanation before the arc was over. Even then, the pain towards MY was momentary. SJs tho stayed for a while. Also someone on the bird app mentioned MY has always wore his wedding thread (the one you put to secure your clothes along with the belt, forgot how they called it)

Nah, people thought the novel ended with BE and HE was epilogue, but no. The BE is for the karma cycle, as a friend said, and the HE is the novel's overall ending. We literally have a demon wedding chapter in the epilogue.
