Ming Ye tho didnt even tell Sang Jiu he is missing the heart protection scale, and that is why her sword wound…
Yes, but what he did to YXW isnt good as well, like forcing her to kill XL, the torture YXW went through in the cold palace and the jail after the nails, she slowly lost hope she can change him. And to be fair, the lesson she learned from the dream arc was to not love the wrong guy as that will only bring doom to her. Cuz let us be honest, he never told YXW he doesnt like YBC, kept on consuming demons, tried to kill her many times, threatened her with her grandma's life. Why do you all are quick to judge YXW and only see TTJs pain but fail to realise YXW spent 3 years in the mortal world, constantly being targeted by TTJ? Why close your eyes to her being so run down by pain and TTJ never trusting her that she is left with only sacraficing her damn life (technically, Xi Wus death was inevitable, she wont pass the age of 20) so she gives TTJ a way out and a fate different than the Devil God? What did she get from all this? - dying as Xi Wu without an intact corpse, losing Curved Jade and feeling the breakage of her meridians and body from overusing the Alluring jade. Please, do not only judge YXW as TTJ is also responsible for how he ends and her actions equally as she is!
Oh, novel is even crueler on both leads, and TTJs portrayal in the drama is washed up and tonned down. The novel…
I wanted SJ to torture TH to death. But what Ming Ye did was satisfying as well - Saying that he won't see TH, they have nothing to talk about, flat out rejecting her. And refusing to mend TH's essence. Man was mad at TH for what she did to SJ in his own way.
You're talking about the Mingye from the novel. He let her go because he was 100% certain he would die along with…
Actually in the novel, at the end of the arc we see all Ming Ye did for Sang Jiu. And as you said, even when i was reading the novel it was apperant SJ did not want Ming Ye to keep on sacrificing for her as there is no turning back.
I am really interested in reading this novel.... try and get into the authors head of the plot and the characters....credit…
Contrary to what you think, the novel has only 5 to 6 chapters of the dream arc. It only deals with what happened with Sang Jiu and Ming Ye's love story, her clansmen being killed and the exchange of divine marrow. In the drama however, we are given many answers to important details, as why is Ji Ze in the Barren Abyss, how the God x Devil war claimed the God's lives, the making of the World alluring Jade.... in the novel, these details aren't explained duting the arc.
She becomes his concubine after the war is over due to Sheng Emperor ordering YBC to go in place of the 7th Royal…
True that, else why would she accept to marry TTJ so fast? Also somewhere after she arrives in Jing Empire, she addmits TTJ was on her list of potential lovers to woo...
TTJ smirking: Approved!
