Yeah, also in the 18 station it was the same - fight Li Bing but dont kill him yet, just wound him, and also Chen Shi was there so thats that. Im thinking General Qiu knows too much thats why Raksha calculated the shot for Qiu and not Li Bing. As you said its not for Li Bing as the position would be a graze on his stomach/side.

Whilst I agree that it may have been the gang, i have my reservations to doubt it based on how it is shown to us. The scene and the position of the door seem not to comply with the gang going in. The way it is shown: the court official going out of the room, not in. If you watch closely, when the door is opened right before the official comes out, the mechanism side is way lighter than whats behind the door. I doubt that raksha will make a whole mechanism from the very top of the building towards the bottomest door. Also, if he is as smart as they portrait him, then he has made plans for the instance in which Li Bing may come alone and may not use the door, so there is a way to trigger the crossbow. Also, imo raksha was there to assure the mechanism is triggered and Li Bing cannot save the girl.

Gu Xun panicked when he heard about the childhood sweetheart dude. 🤣🤣🤣 "Were you confessed to?" was the intro and Qianling's "Not yet" sent him into instant panic mode. The fear is real lol. I smell the shamelessness nearing. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Please, Alibaba being the 123rd kid of his king father and how his father doesnt even remember all his kids names and looks had me on the floor. The way the gang was so shocked with this info and then went on to tease alibaba and his two servants was probably the tension release i needed in today's action packed episodes. Yeah. Strong woman till we start questioning every decision she makes and we hate her for it. As you said, no pleasing them no matter what kind of situation you throw at them, they are forever unsatisfied 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I think everyone that got a clue to what was really going on died some way or another. I think Du ZiXu is a major clue to that happening or at least the beginning factor to why Li Ji was killed and why Li Bing also almost lost his life 3 years ago.

I had no problems with any of the cast early on or now. Everyone has their purpose for filling up a role. Shangguan may have seemed annoying in the beginning or even now to some people, but i think that's what makes her character not so transperant and irrelevant. Also to note - strong female role, not a damsel in distress type of weak tea some people so love. 🤷‍♀️

To point out some things i thought of while watching and reading your observations and thoughts:
- Your trail of thoights is not so inconclusive if they even have a cat official statue to worship --> it somewhat goes along with what you said of the village Chen Shi is from or even his origin. I'm thinking, if we examine Chen Shi and his brother's origin and what you hinted about the cat worshipping, then maybe Du ZiXu is from where Chen Shi is and as of the latest episodes, is related to the cases, Li Bing, Li Ji and even the Empress. Things to note here are that we still do not know who turned Li Bing into a cat 3 years ago, tho i have an absurd guess i wont mention now.
- another point to note - the Empress is heavily involved based on the latest bloodsucking episode - the guy was aging backwards as the Empress and it seems only a handful of people know about it. The way my thoughts flow suggests that Du ZiXu met the Empress, helped her not get old, but paid with his life and everyone that knew about him or had close contact with him ended up dead.
- Yi Zhi Hua going crazy is a bit questionable--> he is sane enough to leave clues for Li Bing, but crazy enough to go on a killing spree. Im guessing it has something to do with the torture General Qiu subjected him to and blood. Blood i say based on how Li Bing wasn't himself when he tasted that vamire guy's blood and turned into a cat. As for why he doesn't use Chen Shi and leaves clues for Li Bing --> i think that fight they had was Yi Zhi Hua's test for Li Bing. If he could fight YZH, use his cat abilities (note: he didnt use a big deal of them, just a bit after the middle; didn't even turn into a cat official) and survive, then YZH will use him to find what he is looking for.

He did call him Mr. Cat when they were on the roof, right after Chen Shi discovered the white cat is Li Bing 🤣🤣🤣

That and the audicity to say "i dont play with low level players". Gu Xun is gonna regret all of his actions tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well apparently confession scene will happen in or shortly after episode 6. From there, probably couple more episodes.
