That marriage ended badly, with her mourning her husband, losing everything, she was depending on a guy then she has to fight for herself. To go through another marriage, she would again be depending on a guy, she would need to talk to him, make her term, weigh all her options and bargaining before she would enter a marriage. That’s her character, if she easily said yes, that would be out of character. That would be saying yes in the heat of the moment. And considering as much as she still loves him, that rebellion is still a thorn in her heart, I can’t remember whether she asked him before or after the consummation about whether he truly is going to rebel. But there are a lot to think about. And why can’t girl take a step back and think before making that decision? And in the book, she wanted to tell him yes the next morning, but he ran off lawl, that’s why she was pissed at him and felt that she was the bad guy here lol

In regards to ZL is more into it than BL, I would very much disagree. They play their characters right here. No one is more than the other, they play it well, they play it right, and perfectly, and in sync with each other. Otherwise we would not have the explosive chemistry even when they were not together, even when she has no idea. Her character meant to be ignoring him, so she acts perfectly how it meant to be. He meant to be fire and ice, how his character meant to be. Stop trying to pitch them against each other. They were great separately, and superb together, how it should be.

ZZ is the ideal white knight in everyone’s mind, but that white knight isn’t suitable for you. In life, you need to recognise who you love, and which love is more suitable.
