We forget to let the character makes honest mistakes and grow. And tbqh, JXN hasn’t done anything wrong, she has no idea about XW’s plan? How would she know he wants to save her that badly that he would burn all his cards? What did he do to gain her complete trust? ATM, she can only take his words for it, nothing of concrete yet, plus she knows how crazy bad he gets at the end. So she is working with the best of her knowledge.
