Xianxia or not, we are still dealing with the same core issue: if one can go back to the past to change history, should one hold grudges to the person that in the future will do harm to her/him? While the current timeline shows no such bad behaviour and personality is totally opposite, aka no trace of evil (in TTJ, there is actually). And there is a saying if you keep thinking it’ll happen, it’ll happen. Like put yourself in JXN’s shoes, what should she be acting? Hating and avoiding YL? Punish him? Be a stranger and YL will be like why? Is it because our family is being targeted by the Xue family? Wouldn’t that just put her back to the wrong path? Would she feel better knowing she can change history but didn’t try?

lol, do you also have problem with minority report, too? Everyone is capable of the most heinous acts, or have the capacity to do the most heinous act. And sure, the memories are bad, but again, if you keep holding on to what had happened, that hasn’t happened yet, you lose sights of what’s the right thing to do. Are you expecting her to hold him, the current YL, responsible for something he hasn’t done? At one stage, you need to either let it go, or hold on to that memories, living in pains, bitter and can’t move forward, unless you want to punish/revenge the current YL. And to us, it’s only over 2 events that she get to that decision, but we don’t have a lot of episodes here. The plot is running very tight right now, and being dead once really give the girl the perspective of what’s more important.
Well, idk whether she did, but you know how initially we meant to not have mon and Tuesday? But then BL said “won’t you consider continuous airing?” And we got eps on Monday and Tuesday. And now, we got our 3 days gap shorten to 2 🤣
I saw the love feelings that Jiang Xue Ning (FL) had for Zhang Zhe (Second Lead) and not Xie Wei (ML), and there…
Yup, ppl forget irl, a lot of people go through not one but at least 2 love of their life. That’s why it’s extremely lucky to be able to be with your first love from the beginning until the day you die. But that’s not realistic and not ideal. You have to fail to succeed, how else you know what to do to have a healthy, long lasting relationship 😄 And breaking up is hard, and sad and messy. But only when you can face the reasons why you broke up in the first place honestly with yourself that you can grow and handle your future relationship better
I'm seeing it started airing on nov 7? But it's only 16th and it have already 20 episodes so I'm confused, also…
Chinese drama loves to pump out 6eps on the first day of release, as it believes it will capture the audiences better. Then 2ep/1ep each day after for X number of days per schedule
It's trending all over douyin with all the college students doing parodies of the "bitter fruit is also a fruit"…
Basically the conversation goes like this: why should we even bother trying if we know we won’t get a HE? And XW replied: a bad ending is still an ending (a bitter fruit is still a fruit 🤣) But yes, best drama line ever. Now anyone that ask is it HE or SE, you can reply a sad ending is still an ending! 😜
So YL r*ped JXN many times in the first life, according to novel reader and some flash backs in the drama. I just…
I think for us, the problem is we treated the first life as her past experience, and therefore the act is unforgivable. However, JXN treated as she has gone back in time, it hasn’t happened yet. So you can’t be hating someone for an act they haven’t committed yet. And as I mentioned before, there was trauma, BL acted it with subtlety, but it’s there. At the beginning, when she first got back, whenever YL touched her, she would froze (she literally not moving a muscle), and flashback to the horrible times. So you can’t say she feel nothing. So the memories keep popping up, but at the same time, standing in front of her is an innocent child who tries his best to make her happy. And because of this, she was able to let go of that trauma. She understands that this child would continue to be good if she didn’t betray him. And just like how XW said he felt sad that JXN become a bad person because no one was there to guide her, and how pitiful that was. Same thing here, JXN felt that if she had been there as a friend, guiding him, then he won’t turn into a bad person. Moreover, like I said before, if ppl did not hate on TTJ in TTEOTM for things he hasn’t done, then why are we hating on YL for things he hasn’t done?
Nah, I stopped at c8/9? It’s ok, I rather wait. This is from a person who watched Naruto, bleach (when it first came out), and lol detective conan since I was 10! Lawl
