In the novel, she herself doesn’t even know how to ascend lol. I think becoming god was never a thing for her lol. It was TTJ that figure it out and helped her lol. But at least with this novel, it kinda tell us how she ascended, whereas other story is like you go through human trial, die and ascend 🙄 it feels like it’s just a test lol, and it’s non failable test lol. And many other story, a phoenix die n got resurrect = god mode. You don’t need to do anything else lol. But I’m pretty sure that the fact she embraces her love for TTJ, and willing to die with him, plus the array got rid of the last thing (I can’t remember what it is) helped her ascended. From the drama, first level up was after the tower scene. Second level up was when she was in a coma and acknowledged her phoenix heritage to level up again. And the last one was when he pushes her into the array, so she can abandon him n become heartless and ascended. The drama told us the array helped her ascending, oh I just remember, so the test of enduring lightning is how one ascend to the next level. The array is like those lightning, if you can survive it, you will ascend. Which is like ALP lol

However, it only pushes her half way (so LSS was just an immortal, then demigod), as she hasn’t mastered her heartless way to go full god mode. Only when TTJ pushed her into the array, made her abandon her love for him (in the book she chose to die with him, and understand the heartless way is actually not heartless at all lawl, kinda like the saying love everything love nothing, or love nothing to love everything? 🤔 one of those), that she was able to ascend

This one is the main one, basically a review. You can just read the headings: 1 -the drama is like the night, putting viewers to sleep. 2 - styling, dialogues is very much Japanese, at first glance, it’s intriguing and beautiful, sadly it has been done before. 3 - the 20s beauty of YSX is to promote the support casts. Not only ZLH and YSX don’t have much screen, their storyline/scenes are not impressed either. YSX, sometimes beautiful, sometimes look “low class” and awkward, especially when she’s next to the SFL. Meanwhile ZLH has weird styling, pair with too white of a face, and over the top expressions that scare the audience.

I kept hearing about the second leads but I didn’t like how the SFL look, as in she looks old and that hairstyle is just not good. Comparing to Esther, who has a mount to make the back taller and therefore make the hairstyle work, SFL didn’t, it was just flat so it looks like extremely lazy styling :/ Also heard about ZLH’s character is rather dull/nonexistent comparing to the SL, that’s why I’m waiting for more es to come out and hopefully it will get better? Also I dislike drama that focus too much on the second leads rather than the main couple

Just finished binging 2 seasons of creamerie, it’s actually quite refreshing lol. It has like 6eps per season n each ep is only 24mins long. Totally recommending you guys to check it out lol (even though it’s so far from Chinese xianxia lawl 🤣)
