Oh that’s long gone. The BL XK rumour die before LIS is aired. And that’s because they make sure BL and XK don’t have anymore interactions, even during YZ’s acting show, there were barely any interactions (if there is, they edited it out lawl). For OnO and FnE, it’s to reconcile the fact that one is modern and one is historical. China do not like direct close association, and in FnE, it makes it sound like the FL, because she was dubbing for OnO, she basically in love because of the characters, rather than it’s being her actual past life. Also I think the drama made it sound like it’s a total coincidence that there is a historical period about their ancestor, and how true it is, is also very questionable and up to the audience’s interpretation.
With this one, the book is rebirth. But I think the drama will make it that she dreams of an alternative her, the her that could be evil and heartless? We will have to wait and see

Yea… already my news feed has an article on how she doesn’t showcase much acting in this trailer lol. And I’m one of those people who you are only as pretty/beautiful onscreen as your acting lol. That’s why if your acting is flat, your beauty is pretty meh for me. TLDR: I think it’s the editing and director’s choice of scenes. More below:
One is relationship focus, one is more about the world and a personal journey. One has a pretty simple storyline with a lot of room for the couple together, even from the start, the guy made sure they stay together, n literally attach to her whenever he can 🤣 (so adorable lol). One is they are enemies from the get go, if it’s not between themselves, then their nations then the world lol! Plus the story is so complex, and anything that they can do together is super kinky 🤣 that can’t passed censorship 😔
Also director’s cuts: he has a specific emotions he’s searching for and want those to be displayed. Even the bed scene in TTJ’s bo’re dream, she seems super sad and not into it, but she actually is, however the director wanted her sad emotions shine through, her grasping him strongly is how she doesn’t want him to go, doesn’t want to let go of him. Plus the drama is so short, you don’t get a yearning period, other xianxia would have like at least 2 episodes each(!) where the lead gets to mop over each other and their relationship. Here: apart from TTJ who gets that after YXW’s death, we barely get LSS’s version lol. Plus they even cut the ending where she meant to be mopping around for 1000years then literally proposed to him herself lol, and sew the bride’s veil herself. Redeem herself and show him how she’s truly love him and wanted him… nada lawl. And as much as people find MY bo’re life is boring, we get to see their chemistry there. And it said something about the chemistry when a simple shoulder rest in the forest after he was half blind was so moving lol.
