I know not everyone agrees, but I cannot get over how disappointed I am with the ending of this show. I tried…
See and I really cringe with the "life lesson" stuff that some dramas do. I don't love everything about this drama and the way the gal treated someone being a chronic alcoholic never made sense to me though we are left with him leaving the booze behind indicating he was gonna give sobriety a go.
I actually thought one of the most realistic things was the older sister staying with her boyfriend. The problems aren't resolved because that's the way life is ...and she loves him anyway. He's a good but not perfect guy. To me that was the most realistic relationship on the show.
Overall an odd show that somewhat defies the normal k-drama genres. I liked it but was ready for it to end and am not rushing for another one like this.

A you tuber (probably more than one) did a thing on when k-pop plagerized music but also has content on when k-pop has been plagerized by people around the world. With the internet now, it is soooo much harder to get away with that without being called out. I believe when art is put into the world, it is great when people are inspired by it whether it is music or painting etc. I just don't understand why some artists choose to act like they came up with it themselves. Madonna eventually got busted after Vogue for taking the dance concept from the gay clubs in NYC. I mean back then, most Americans were not gonna know a dang thing about that so it took a while. (A bit disappointed in Shakira tbh.)

Hopefully entertainment content from your neck of the woods will break through like K-dramas or Nordic Noir or the telenovelas and get exported. I take k-dramas with a grain of salt but I have learned a lot about Korean culture from them.

I lived in Texas for a # of years. When Hollywood sets a show in Texas they often give the actors a thick, hick sounding accent. It's ridiculous. When a show is set in the American South, the accent is what I call the full molasses. When a showrunner was starting a tv show about poor white people, the powers that be wanted it set in the south or in a trailer park. The showrunner refused, rightly pointing out that there are poor white people all over and he wasn't going with stereotypes. And the Irish-Americans are drunks and the Italian Americans are mafia etc
You are asking the US entertainment industry to get Africa right. They can't get their fellow countrymen right.
I've seen the actor who plays the dad (Chun Ho Jin) in so many dramas. I love how he doesn't actually have a lot of lines here but he's so good at relaying what needs to be relayed.
The scene of the trio at the Joy Support Center is hilarious. Anyone knows why the lady is so adamant on them…
I suspect her job is to get every single employee in a club whether they want to be or not. I have no idea if this is a thing in Korea. I'm more familiar with the team dinners which involve copious amounts of booze.
Can someone explain this to me what is kim hee woo profession? It says prosecutor but he is doing interrogations…
I see some have explained already. I would just add that it's my understanding that due to police corruption back in the day, there was a lack of trust with the police hence prosecutors having so much power.
We all sometime in our life do some dumb thing I think she had a big reason as well
I'm sure she has a reason. It's just I've seen it so often it is in trope territory but that doesn't mean that it doesn't happen a lot in Korea. Just one of those things.
I know that some people didn't like this drama, but personally I don't think that it was a waste of time. I really…
I think it lost it's way around episode 11 -12 and then tried to right itself. Probably should have just been 12 episodes but I enjoyed it and found it to have really fleshed out characters with even minor ones being well thought out. It's one of the first times I've thought that I know people like some of these characters.
