Title Thirty-Nine
Just imagine how many times over the course of Chan Young and Jin Seok's relationship she has asked him to leave…
Oh, and I forgot...I think there is still a big stigma about divorce especially raising a child in that situation in Korea to this day.

I don't buy the whole emotional cheating is worse thing personally but I think it is a mute point because I know plenty of people who have gone through cheating....it is always physical. I don't think men hanging out with a woman for years and years without sex really happens all that often irl.

Jinseok wants to have his cake and eat it too.. I hate guys like that. He can't be with the woman he loves but…
Yep and the wife doesn't truly have a husband invested in the relationship and the gal can't move on and perhaps be with someone else because he doesn't man up. To be fair, the gal should have moved on as well.

About mid-way through episode 3, this drama found its groove and kind of settled. I am surprisingly content with the main relationship as I wasn't sure how SK was gonna do, but so far he is doing just fine.

Why do some people think it's too early for them to like each other? Some people like each other after one blind…
I'm not a fan of instalove but that is not what is going on here. I agree with you. Saying they have a connection and like each other and want to see each other again is pretty normal. I think the drama can then deal with issues like working with each other and basically being the rebound relationship. I think maybe people are used to the Korean use of "like" in dramas which is basically a stand in for saying I love you but I don't get that vibe here.

I've heard a lot of people saying this and I feel like I'm the only one who really likes the Mi Jo and Sun Woo…
No, I like him. I mean it's like two episodes so we'll see how it goes. I kind of liked his chill vibe. He seems more a normal dude, but still a bit unsure of himself. They did kind of overdo the coincidences of them meeting over and over again but, hey, she's not hang gliding into North Korea which was a lot more realistic...

Did I cry because of her yes, is what she doing wrong, personally for me, affairs are wrong. I don't care what…
No, it is not karma. Perfectly lovely people die of cancer. I've known some. If we think people who do bad things get cancer because of that bad thing, then what about those other people? However, I do think the emotional affair has been absolutely negative and stressful and stress causes all sorts of horrible things to our bodies so there could be a tie in there.

Why does it feel like Park Min Young bas been getting type-casted lately? Lots of office-related career roles…
I think she is good in this genre and probably is a bit type cast. I notice the writer wrote Glory Jane which PMY starred in so maybe that is what got her involved in this project. (The writer also wrote the Dr. Romantic dramas which weren't my cup of tea but I loved Dalja's Spring.)

is it worth watching??
I think so or at least check out the first 2 episodes. They do a pretty good job setting everything up.
On Forecasting Love and Weather Feb 14, 2022
Yeah, it is an office drama which is basically most chaebol/lawyer/doctor shows as well for all intents and purposes. However, the weather setting really is refreshing. Solid first two episodes. I look forward to getting to know the leads better and see how it goes.

im confused, so were yoo jin and ki joon married and ha kyung and shi woo were side pieces? i don't get the love…
At the beginning of the drama Yoo Jin (the reporter) is living with Shi Woo. Ki Joon has been in a 10 year and now engaged relationship with Ha Kyung. Yoo Jin and Ha Kyung are having an affair but we don't know how long it had been going on. Then they got married 2 months after the huge break up of their previous relationships. I would say at this point they both were using their previous partners for financial stability.

I enjoyed the first episode. I think there is gonna obviously be more drama about wrong decisions because, you know, it's a drama. I live in an area where if they say 30% chance of rain, I deduct 20% for wishful thinking.

agree with all of this. The drama got boring around ep 7. I watch this because of Joy though I'm a fan of her,…
Yeah, I didn't have an issue with Joy's acting but they made too many discussions very repetitive. I actually haven't even watched the last 6 episodes but have stalled and don't know if I am gonna jump back in.

A lot of people complained about this too. That they waited so long for this pair to reunite and they were cheated.…
Ok, thanks for this. I like Wallace Chung and was thinking about jumping in but when the writers are battling it out, that's a sign I should probably save myself the grief.

I'm wondering if I should start this? The comments seem like, strong start then gets boring and cliche and downhill,…
I found it to be still worth a watch though it could have easily been 12 episodes. However, I think this is true of around 75% of 16 episode k-dramas. I admit to kind of skimming through the last 3 episodes.

Netflix signs the checks but if you don't like the drama, you can blame the same ole writers and directors. I have my issues with Netflix but they tend not to nitpic the content. Their business model is to get a lot of product out there and hope that something hits and creates buzz like Squid Game, Bridgerton or Stranger Things.

before i started this drama, i was kinda hesitating cuz for me, an 8.3 rating for a kdrama isn't too convincing…
I pay no attention to ratings on MDL or in Korea. Better to read a few of the reviews or try a few episodes.

Not even trying to bully its a known fact but Uee is acting blander than water. Like how can u cry, shock, angry,…
The best I've ever seen her is Marriage Contract. Don't know if it is directing or the character isn't working for her. I'm just thinking of starting this one.

Why is this soooo boring? Is it the lack of any chemistry? The corny jokes? The incessant flashbacks? The uninteresting…
I haven't watched this since episode 5 and was considering whether I should jump back in or drop. But to answer your question, it is probably because most 16 episode dramas should be 12 episodes. There are a few dramas where they need the actual amount but this isn't one of them.
