I still do not understand Jane’s Patrick mentality. Why risk beeing expeled from harvard just to be a favour…
He's definitely some kind of sociopath or psycho, high IQ and all, but I think it's mostly a complex. In the novel it states that his motivation stems from wanting power. He doesn't care about things like being expelled. His ultimate goal is to be top dog, to have people indebted to him and at his mercy. Yes, he probably would have been thrown in jail for the Harvard thing, but instead of it being dystopian, I think he genuinely wormed his way out of it by using his wits and connections. He's very cunning and great with his words- a true law student lol. It was most likely a case of there not being enough to convict him with anything, just enough to get him kicked out, ya know? This is just based on what I've read so far. If anything changes, I will share...If I remember🤣
“Your body? Don’t worry. I’ll get it.”- P'Jane, DBTE.
Ouuuu I am shook! Big Jane is soooo bad right now but I'm enjoying the train wreck😭 Once again I am impressed by Tee's ability to portray Big Jane's malice through his eyes when he's hurt/furious. I can't believe P'Jane actually said that to his Jane- love🫢 It's definitely giving David McCall right now and I might be just as bad because I want all the hurt/comfort, angst, yearning, groveling and I hope I get it😂 Friday, please fast forward! Fingers crossed the next episode is 75 mins🥲
I like it too, the whole mature, dark, broodiness of Big Jane vs the humble, casual boyishness of Little Jane! Of course, I'm sure it runs deeper than that, but in terms of aesthetics😂
Yes fr. The novel is written, i mean it might be written better but the translation sucks, and all thai books…
Haha I still have a loooong way to go knowing damn well if they included everything from the novel that I'd end up skipping some stuff😭 I'm actually really pleased with the show so far as well! It's crazy but I can't wait for the mess😂 I want to know how deep Big Jane's love is😆
I'm only on chapter 8 so I have no idea if this is supposed to be a constant theme or what, but from my understanding it's just his soft boy aesthetic. It mentions that he accidentally on purpose buys bigger shirts to wear. I guess it's to contrast between his and Big Jane's sharper style of dress. Also, Big Jane gave him his jacket to wear because he was cold and Big Jane rolled up the sleeves for him and I guess that made him feel a certain way too😂 Little Jane is actually describes as super cute and short in the novel which isn't how I would describe Heng (he is much to pretty to me) but yeah, he's supposed to be more dorky I guess😂
I just started the novel, and while the writing style isn't really my cup of tea, I am thoroughly entertained! I'm already getting some clarity on everyone's characters and it's so fun. Gap is my favorite so far😌 but of course, it's Big Jane who has my interest🤭🖤 also, Little Jane's baggy clothes make a lot more sense now😆
I will defend Phob till my last breath. I genuinely think that people who don't understand Phob are looking at…
I agree!! And everyone throwing it in his face that he's ungrateful for all that the palace has done for him just piss me off. Does that mean he should just be blindly loyal and not question anything? Especially growing up with Chat's nonsense and knowing that if he wasn't as smart as he was, he and his mom would have struggled/ have very limited options beyond the palace😔 He stuck to his ideals even though he knew it would cost him and I'm glad he didn't deny it when Tinn asked him whether he'd do it again if he could go back in time😥
Can't stop thinking about how Fanfan basically told Luqing that he was only with him because he was the lesser of two...or maybe three??...evils and I am proud of my baby girl😝 I wish I could do a whole analysis but I am too lazy for all that😭
Ehhh this is sooo cute, I love big cry babies and their smaller mean partners🤣 it gets me every time. I don't know what it is about the small town trope but it eats! This gives me hope that one day we may get an Our Sunny Days adaptation and that makes me happy😭
