This did the Manhwa soooo much justice, I couldn't stop giggling. I can't believe I was hung up on Jay's dimples, but TopTap- the man that you are!!! It's a 10/10. I loved everything about this. I was worried for nothing because they did the research and stuck closely to the original details. I really hope they have a special episode or something because I'm not ready to let them go just yet. This might be my sign to read the novel now and discover new details to make me love Payback even more!!Was this review helpful to you?
Hua Yong is a different kind of pervert and I love it!!!
I was a bit intimidated by the reviews I'd heard about this series before I started it, but turns out that it was all just noise!I really enjoyed this for the toxic value and Hua Yong's utter shamelessness in his pursuit of Mr. Sheng. I kinda liked that there wasn't anything big and dramatic in the way everything resolved. Hua Yong is crazy and Mr. Sheng accepted that pretty quickly by how fast he folded.
I'm not rating this higher because Gao Tu deserved better and I cannot in any way be satisfied with that ending for them. I'll be sad about this for a while😭
