Ok all done for Ep 23. Thoughts -
• The award for the best love rival in dramaland goes to Marquis. Such a kind hearted boy, even trying to build a relo with his bro. Although, I'm  disappointed they shoved the bracelet thing under, as if it never happened. The bracelet that had the biggest hating club. We are being gaslighted here 😭
• I like how they are starting to expose Mu Yao's dad to her. She holds him in so much high regard without knowing. He used to treat MuSheng badly as a kid, I wonder how she never noticed. Maybe the resentful woman came for revenge against him and the consort dowager.
• I feel so bad for MiaoMiao, she truly is becoming a game character. She would have asked the side effect of that power up from the system, but I guess there was not enough time at that critical moment.
• Everyone likes their CiuCiu.
• I feel many things have been cut in the recent eps and I judge whoever did the cutting, as they retained unimportant scenes. In general, still loving this drama and looking forward to more reveal!

Ziqi packing all items that MiaoMiao uses, even bowls and chopsticks was hilariously cute🤩

At this point, I have seen the Directors went for a chaste drama, that kiss is not coming. Even if it comes, it might be a 5 secs peck on the lips. If they really do this, it's on sight for me and the Director 🥊

1 episode a day is turning everyone to the resentful woman atp

Ah right, I'm looking forward to that episode as well. In the teaser, MiaoMiao did the peace sign during the drawing/photo session and after Ziqi asked what it meant, he automatically put up two piece signs himself. That might be further evidence of him being from the future.

I'd like that as well. But I won't be surprised if they pull a fast one on us even in the special episodes. We'll end up getting air kisses again smh

BTW, I'm still waiting for the bracelet reveal and consort dowager's punishment. Cause she was involved in many people's demise and shouldn't get an easy pass! I'm wondering if they are hoarding the bracelet info as it concerns the consort dowager as well, hence will treat both matters together 🤔.

Getting a kiss from these two is like looking for water in a desert! I was expecting at least 3 kisses by now to repay us for the long wait but at this rate, if we get even a peck, it will be a surprise 😫.

One of the main reasons this is such a stellar drama is how they break all the nonsensical character tropes we normally see in dramas.
For instance:
• NO FL and SFL rivalry, just a beautiful sismance with both ladies always looking out for EO
• NO SML hanging around, creating a stupid triangle.
• We also have the perfect balance of ML (Green flag and grey).
• Story revolves mainly around leads, no screen time issues with other characters (except maybe the recent episodes but its needed)
• FL is a total girls girl. I thought she will do the weird thing of piling on the Princess but nooo she understands her side as well. Afterall is a fair playing ground and it's on Liu Fuyi to shut it down, and it was well shut down in ep 20
• The supposed love rival, Marquis is this sweet boy who genuinely likes the FL and will never manipulate or force any situation on her. He is also not hanging around as other love rivals do, waiting for an opportunity (the way I laughed so hard when he cried on the floor after she left, he's soo goofy ❤).

Oh it will eat so bad 🥵

Yep, this is my theory as well once we confirm the resentful woman is the mum. She was all calm raising Ziqi alone, probably some incident occurred alongside the attempted assassination.

So we were at 98% all this while we couldn't see the percentage, now it moved to 99%. I dare say 50% was love and 100% is obsession and I will confirm this theory soon 🌚

We finally see Ziqi's planned confession, he really went all out with the flowers and the swing! I like that he didn't dispose of them 🥺. Then, there are the poor dust mushrooms still floating around since lol

Oh DingYuxi indeed took us on a varied emotional ride on Ep 18. From making us cheer 👏 when he sat in between them in the carriage in the first scene, to showing his hot possessive side 🥵 when he threatened the Marquis, to giving us the most heartbreaking moment 💔, all in episode!

The men bonding and drinking up the whole tavern wine when the ladies denied their feelings hahaha

MuSheng speaking up for Liu Fuyi with his sister is indeed a great development from the crazed sis character we met in the first episodes 👌. MiaoMiao's influence, love it!

Aww 300 years by WenXiao is soo heartfelt. We are really now at the romance arc, cause she's also letting her guard down

The way I screamed at the 'not kiss scene!' The beautiful tension, bgm, and emotions were just so fitting 🥺

HouMinghao and ChenDuling nailed it, the chemistry 🤩

Damn that agreement, we need someone to help fix it and give us that kiss

Oh ya the Marquis is a good person, when he brought back the wedding dress, he won me over. I just hoped he will meet someone else meant for him cause he deserves, but def not MiaoMiao haha

When he was frantically looking for his hairband 😭😭. A sharp contrast to when MiaoMiao had tied it for him in the valley with a hug.
