Production team got my full admiration for daring to give respect to the source material so accurately. Some element were adjusted for filming but it didn't impact the viewing experience. They truly did an amazing work.

hahaha you got it right. I just saw the trailer for episode 9. Shu Lang is still as radiant as I recall him to be. As for the shirtless Xiao hahaha while it serves the fans appetite, it also adds to the story and makes the production even more legit. I stumbled upon quite a few dramas/movies ... and sad to say there where good shots sure but it was all fanservice instead of presenting the story in a favorable light. ahhhhh I can't wait for tomorrow! Still 18 hours minus 8h for sleep ... okay 10 hours is manageable π

haha super edible is yet mild to whatever I think of ShuLang since the iconic scene in episode 5. π A delectable scrumptious meal is he to me. There were few scene that Hao YiRan was just radiant and glowing. I don't know if it's the lightning, the change of outfits style or the make up but ... yeah. I get that Fan Xiao feels mouthwatering whenever ShuLang is nearby and goes on feral mode. Production team really showcased that element from the novel beautifully.
