Two pretty faces standing around reciting lines in a series of interconnected scenes. Plot jumps around and if you want any logic this isn't the plot for you. The feeling that a LOT of plot has been left out is staring you in the face as things get mentioned off hand and then they go nowhere or have no connection to what's been happening. It's the feeling of reducing 5 chapters to a single line of dialog I'd assume if I had actually read the book it was based on (instead of just the full drama).
If you've watched the drama and then this there's maybe 4/10 points of similarity if I had to guess.

Less 'romance' and more the FL trying to come to terms with her gift of Divination and various ways it's used throughout the drama and has caused issues in the past.
Overall I liked the plot but it felt more like an outline than a fully fleshed out story that might have made it over 3 hrs rather than 2hr 16min. For instance FL stops an army from marching in rain, walks out a door to the outside and a guard follows them outside and apparently has information that a landslide has just occurred and washed out the road which would have killed them; time has no concept.
🤣 Also in the back of my mind I constantly wanted to know how this country was running with their Emperor dead and the Crown Prince and Prince Regent just standing around trying to figure out which of their wives was going to MAKE them the Emperor 🤣🤡🤦‍♀️

A lot of it depends on who holds the rights and how much they want to push back. Of course for older releases it also comes down to lack of interest / availability. The ones here they just have to grab from a quark or telegram but older ones they'd have to probably screen record, do the subtitles and then hope that after uploading their effort doesn't get them a takedown 😅. With sometimes ~70-100 verticals coming out a day these channels already have to pick and choose and are almost always only uploading that days choices as a result.

I literally JUST rewatched this one yesterday and it was still as cute and funny that I actually bumped my rating up ❤️🥰

Sadly I'm not suprised for this one specifically. Many of his never have any English ones so I wouldn't be suprised if these links dissappear in a few hours/a day. For instance I was busy when 皇权许你 (Imperial Power Grants You) first came out and didn't even get through half of the video before I came back later and it was gone. A few of his other ones with pages have subtitled videos now but didn't for weeks or months.

I haven't read the novel but I watched the vertical drama when it first came out last year and followed the story of the animation the year before (as much as I wanted to just watch it my brain won't let me enjoy the style of Chinese animation most of the time no matter how hard I try 😭)

Exactly about the synopsis being a major spoiler 🤦‍♀️ The official one on Iqiyi is even worse laying out practically the entire plot

FL transmigrates in after watching drama. The system informs her that her goal is to turn the ML demonic and have him kill her. Naturally she doesn't agree with this and sets about becoming a 'good' Master for her Disciple instead of a Villianous one and allow him to Ascend rather than become a Demon. The plot then follows them gathering his soul fragments as his inner past self demon tries to convince him she doesn't like him and will leave him.

I give it a 6.5

The FL has a sister who is 13 years old. The father tries to sell her in to marriage but is caught by FL and thwarted. Later when she is brought home by FL though she "seems" to be trying to seduce the ML and acting like a typical scheming woman... at 13 years old 🥲 (ML has ZERO interest in her obviously but it was still a "WAIT... What am I watching" moment)

Major fan of Guan Yue but I liked this overall. It has a mix of 'Seducing the Buddhist Monk' along with 'Clinging to Brother-in-law for protection' tropes. There were a few over the top WTF moments that had me looking up the director after and going OH IT'S THIS GUY 🤣 - There was one spot specifically that might have viewers turn the vertical off so I'll put it in a spoiler below.
Overall though, a solid "mid-level" vertical.

This was a rather good one. There were definitely some "okay, sure" moments but overall the story flowed well enough. Simp ML Emperor calling the FL Jiejie was adorable 😅. Like several of Wang Peiyan's works this has him being forced to study and being forced to sign a contract so if you like watching him suffer with those tropes you'll like at least part of this 😉.

🤣 Okay you couldn't find anything about a part 1 either... I remember the other Part 2 one that came out where I spent like 2 hours trying to verify that I wasn't crazy and there WAS no part 1 🤣

This is cute enough in theory but the biggest issue is that it is edited horribly making for a bit of a headache when you try to follow what's happening and why...

Wait no 🤣 SHE didn't become Empress... her FRIEND became Empress. The one from the school... she caught the eye of the 4th Prince when she spoke up for FL against the 2 mean girls.

I didn't do a FULL side-by-side comparison but I found 5 scenes for sure
1) 00:05:50 - after the scene of her being a ghost she says in a voice-over "Until 7 days later when he was assassinated, he'd already become emaciated." Uncut has this voiceover dialog being said over a scene of his fighting off several assailants on a deserted area while cut version moves dialog to overlap with the ghost scene.
2) 1:08:39 - he kisses her while she's asleep (this is referred to but not seen in shorter versions when they are thinking about her lips looking swollen.
3) 2:29:19 - in the study after he pats her shoulder he stands up but then puts his hand back on her shoulder and slides it down her waist. She looks up at him.
4) 2:53:00 - when pretending to be drunk after she blots his face with her handkerchief he grabs her hand and pulls her into his lap sliding his hands around her waist. She "hmmphs" 😅 looking away and he brings his head in to the side of her face cutting away as it alludes to him kissing it.
5) 2:57:32 - after she spoons medicine into his mouth he grabs her hand and leans his head in with a spotlight behind them. Camera shows her dropping the bowl of medicine to the floor.
