Just watched the 1st episode and need to wait and let it set in so I can go back and rewatch it because I took in barely ANY dialog just staring at the cast members and sets with my mind going "OMG ALLLLLL THE PRETTTTTTTY" 🙈😅❤️

I guess I get your hang-up but that's the sort of drama this is so it's sort of like "take it or leave it". In my mind it's similar to going to watch a DGZ mini and getting annoyed he's taking off his shirt (I'm using this as an example specifically because I'm guilty of that so often). I haven't finished this though so idk how this one ends or if he chooses to be with JY by the end. My mind went Brrrr and I've only been watching Vertical dramas for weeks. If you like minis with Guan Yue he has a modern vertical out today that's ridiculous but fun.
I liked this one a lot. Wei Ruochen looks amazing in costumes in general but in this one he's wearing one of the wavy wigs 🥰 The plot doesn't have the FL personally get her hands dirty like in some "reborn viscious" types but here she didn't need to as for once the Prince ACTUALLY gave her guards who were competent in their job 😅.
This has one of the best shut-downs of a crazy-delusional 2fl I've possibly EVER seen. It was a joy to watch him basically say "What are you SMOKING lady, you're crazy" 😅

Saw a similar version under the name "Too Many Men, Too Many Choices" which when I watched it I thought was funny since it was really only the General and the Prime Minister. Here though the princess really DOES have a lot of men (and flirts with a woman 😅). She has a Prime Minister, the "head wife" General, a scholar, the Minister of Justice, and a member of foreign royalty (I think) who spies on her while cross-dressing as a maid in her Palace. Most of the story focuses on the General coming to terms with not being the ONLY one while she runs around collecting stamps. The end is abrupt and semi-lacking because of this but overall it was fun.
