Anti fans have it in for Zee. There was also a controversy with Saint who was his partner in Why R U? And anytime he has a modeling gig with a woman he has to be having an affair with her. In fact anytime he's in the same room with a woman . . .

I am not a shipper of Zee and NuNew, and frankly I don't care what he does in his personal life as long as it's not criminal.

There was no BDSM in this series only abuse. BDSM requires consent.

Looking at a couple in bed using a scarf to cover one of their eyes is BDSM. What we saw in the series was not.

None of the scenes in the trailer are part of the series. They were just made to interest investors so they could actually start filming the series.

As far as anything else goes people here are allowed to say anything they want about the series. It helps if the contributors have actually seen the series but otherwise anything goes.

And not liking one element of a series doesn't mean that you don't like it as a whole.

Anyone can have an opinion, no one has to fast forward or skip watching it, and we are allowed to be at least as annoying as you are being right now.

Zee played a rapist In a TV series called Remember 15 back in 2022. And apparently some anti-fan or anti-fans made accusations that he was a sexual deviant in his real life.

So Mandee issued a press release and had at least some of the accounts shut down, which is like trying to fill gopher holes. They will just dig another one.

Needless to say all of these allegations are false and completely mean. If anything Zee is a pretty introverted guy who either works or spends time with his family. I've got no idea why he is a subject of so much undeserved hate.

I don't think the series is romanticizing their relationship at all. They're showing it for the abuse that it is.

And what I said previously about promoting violence against women was the assertion of one poster who said that women like rough sex. It had nothing to do with this series.

Speak for yourself. That attitude perpetuates violence against women. Boo.

So nobody in this group outside of me and one other person has ever actually spent a significant amount of time researching BDSM or Christmas flowers. Gotcha.

All you've got is a bunch of wishful thinking because you don't want to see what's patently obvious.

Not all elements of the book are being incorporated in the series. That's one reason why I refused to read it before watching the series.

Someone else in these threads said the whole sex slave angle wasn't included in the book but I can't verify that since I haven't read it.

You must be missing something. Someone else here said the same thing. They're too many threads here for me to go and find it.

So I went back to the scene where Ramil pulls Paytai out of the art class.

I carefully looked at all of his expressions when Ramil shoved him against the pole at the university and after they got into the car

The only expressions I saw were terror, sadness, moisture on his face from crying, and contrition for his "bad behavior". And if you're saying he was happy about getting beaten then I don't know what to say to you.

Terror doesn't look like smiling. Sadness and contrition doesn't look like ecstasy. A person who wants to be a sub doesn't act like that.

I don't think anybody in this group save for one person I spoke to has ever read a book on BDSM or been involved in the lifestyle.

And if you're going to call me Mary I will start calling you Susie.

The writers should have read a few books on BDSM and spoken to some people in the lifestyle. Because if that is their intent for the end they are sure going about it the wrong way.

Oh and PS. The scene with the scarf was from the old pilot. That was shot before NuNew even dyed his hair and those scenes so far haven't been in the series. I don't believe any of that content will be in the series.

At 28:53 Ramil drags Paytai out of Charan's studio and shoves him against a pole. He looks scared and he looks like he was crying. Ramil says does Paytai know what his duties are and who he belongs to. Paytai replies in the affirmative and says but there isn't a rule that he can't study art. Ramil says he can't because Charan works for the Assavadevathins, threatens him to stay away from them unless he wants trouble.

At 30:07 Paytai is in the car putting on the emergency dog collar looking very sad. As he hands Ramil the end of the leash he says I'm fully aware of who I belong to. Looks very contrite. Says he knows he's acted inappropriately and asks Ramil to punish him.

Ramil then pulls him by the dog collar leash and tells him you are mine. Paytai's face is all wet and looks like he's been crying. He nods his head in response looking really sad.

Then Ramil kisses him and grabs his thigh. And that's the end of the scene.

I don't know where you saw any smiling or anything at all that indicated that Paytai was happy about any of this.

BDSM involves getting dominated or being dominant for each of your personal pleasure. You consent to the activity. You won't cower and cry when you're getting beaten, or wearing a collar if it gets you off.

Paytai is Ramil's whipping boy, someone procured by his father to be punished instead of the prince. So when Ramil misbehaves Paytai gets punished for it.

Ramil and Paytai seem to have some kind of sexual relationship as well. But Ramil dominates him and Paytai doesn't have a choice in the matter.

This is not like a normal BDSM relationship where a sub or slave agrees to be one. There is no consent here.

It's definitely non-consensual. Paytai is a whipping boy and that role never involves consent.

How can anyone not love Chakri. They need to give him more royal duties so he can follow Khanin 24/7. 🙂

Can't get past the making Ian Yi a horrible human being. He's often a second male lead and one who doesn't get the girl but he's never been evil before.

I'm only a little more than halfway through but this is really ruining it for me.
