Nat's family considers Max one of their own. They have never said their relationship is anything other than very close friendship.

The only things I could find out about Nat's background is he comes from a wealthy family that owns a construction company and his family mansion has a basketball and tennis courts. He went to a high school in Singapore which is the reason that he speaks fluent english.

It also says that he has some Chinese ancestry but that he is not mixed race white, no mention of him having Japanese ancestry.

The one thing I do know is that Nat's family really loves Max because he protected him when he entered the industry. He was only 16 or 17 years old at the time. Max still acts very much as a protector to this day.

If you're watching it on Netflix it was cut to 21 episodes not 24.

You're making a lot of assumptions. I don't care at all whether James has a BL partner or not, never heard him sing in 2024. I'm basing my opinion of his voice on his performances in DEXX which I don't think much of a group to start with.

The only drama I ever saw James in was Bed Friend. He played an unlikable character but he did a good job at it.

Can't tell you if James has improved his voice since 2024 but he still doesn't sound good in 2026.

Been following Zee's career since he met NuNew in 2021 . Actually Zee has a very unfortunate vibrato in his voice and he goes out of key pretty easily, especially when he's tired. In the studio he can produce better quality music but when he performs live both of those issues still persist. When he sings live he does a better job with NuNew because Nhu keeps him on key even if he can't always control Zee's terrible vibrato.

I've never heard Jamessu sing live, only with DEXX. I don't like the group and I don't like him in it. Sorry.

I can only tell you that in TNP they changed some of the plot points, and removed some of the unforgivable things the King did in the book. Also his ending was much more severe and horrible in the book and he wasn't forgiven like he was in the series.

I can't tell you what they will do with Mr Fanboy and I didn't read the book anyway. You might be angry but don't be surprised if things change.

DMD isn't known for following the plot of books. The King's redemption in TNP made me want to throw things.

I don't think Zee is is a good singer either (or Net for that matter). They probably only sing at all because they have partners who are talented. James has neither. My opinion is not irrelevant and shared by many other people including many people on this board.

I find it shocking that anyone with a singing background thinks he can sing, but different strokes. 🤷🏼‍♀️

One of my all-time favorite BLs is The Next Prince. It has a 7.6 MDL rating. 🤷🏼‍♀️

No thanks. There are a lot of good singers in DMD James isn't one of them. He's not even as good as Zee, when he can get the vibrato out of his voice. My opera coach worked with Leontyne Price.

You are mistaken. I never even heard his cover from 2004.

I'm a trained singer, I can tell the difference between a good voice and a bad voice.

That isn't to say that there aren't a lot of bad singers that people like.

On DMD sports day Ohm said he had a new acting partner but didn't name him. I'm not familiar with Pond, but most Thai BL leads have paired partners.

Net and James were friends at most. Net said in interviews that he doesn't get romantically involved with his co-stars.

If you want to succeed in BL you need to be in a paired couple, at least you do in Thailand. So it was necessary for Net to find another partner in order to continue his career.

Ohm did the same thing. When Jimmy left the pair Ohm immediately went in search of a new partner. He has already announced that an acting partner has been selected although he hasn't named him yet.

It's a job. Has nothing to do with the personal feelings that they have for their former partner. I don't think in either case there are any hard feelings.

The character Sarm just isn't likable, so a budding relationship between him and Jam seems pretty unlikely, unless he's going to keep Jam drunk 24/7 like he did in the first few episodes.

I can't speak for others but I like my leading man to be someone who I could picture being in a relationship with someone. Sarm is a narcissistic self-centered hobo, and I can't picture anyone wanting to hold his hand much less have sex with him.

My two favorite MaxNat series are Naughty Babe and Two Worlds. Sutiny was completely unwatchable. I could only make it through about 10 minutes of episode 1.
