I find most NC scenes boring so I don't pay much attention. Cutie Pie was one of the very few I thought was well done.

I hope this one is something I will find watchable.

As far as the novel goes I found it online. I'm not even sure what language it is, doesn't look like Thai but you can click on the chapters and then hit Google translate and read it in english.

I didn't start watching this until all the episodes had dropped and quite frankly I was ready to give up on it after watching the first two. It picked up after that but then took a dive back into the hole in episode 11.

It's a BL so the whole opium trade storyline should have taken much more of a backseat and been much more tightly written than it was. I think to the extent that people had trouble with this series and dropped it was because of that.

Eventually, I found myself skipping over some of the opium trade stuff and it became much more enjoyable.

Net and JJ had really good chemistry. And Net is gorgeous to start with which is one of the things that helped me to go on with this drama.

The last episode had all of the elements but again more attention should have been paid to what happened after Phop was reunited with Nakun. They rushed the ending from arrival, to reunion, to marriage. So less emphasis on the opium trade story and more on the relationship would have made for a better story.

Somewhere between 8 and 8.5 for me.

I already watched it. I was hoping for something more light-hearted given that LUAT was anything but.

So they are going back in time for this special episode. It would have been better if they just made it part of the series.

It was common to chew betel seeds. It was considered healthy and beautiful, used by the aristocracy and wealthy not the servant class. I'm guessing that in this drama they wanted to show a little authenticity to the time but giving Net and JJ black teeth would take away from the romance not to mention their beauty.

Apple music has the worst search engine on the face of the planet. A search of Love Upon a Time only came up with a few of them. Actually six of the seven are available on Apple music. Not sure about iTunes since I have an Apple music subscription which I almost never use. The only one not available is Everlasting Dreams.

As far as NuNew goes I found that Apple music does carry him, but doesn't carry everything he sings which is why I have a YouTube premium account. But Still from LUAT is available, as is New Season which is also from this year.

Seven songs from the series have been released on YouTube and it looks like only three on Apple music. Here's the link to my YouTube music playlist and when the last song is released it will be there. BTW, I went to the end of the show to try and do a Google search on that last song and while I was there I saw that the special clip for episode 12 has been put online.
