The positives: I never heard of Jackie Muench (Plaifun) before, but she has a beautiful voice and I wish I could have heard her sing more than The Beauty Inside.
Keng (Alex Kim) has a great body even if he was a werewolf and he has a decent voice too.
You had to wait for the credits to even hear NuNew sing Copter's song.
There was a nice scene between Plaifun and Alex Kim about how she was the inspiration for his career. Later a shorter version of this between Copter and her.
Otherwise this was one big mess with a few funny scenes thrown in. The other two members of theTakhli Gang had me scratching my head. If they have any talent we sure didn't see it here.
I had to stop a lot to even watch the entire thing and this will be the only time I ever watch it. What a waste of NuNew, Jackie, and Kheng's talent.

It really bothered me that they cheaped out on Jam's wedding outfit. If DMD can spend over $100,000 on dozens of outfits for 5 ft 8 inch NuNew in TNP, they should be able to spring for one decent dinner jacket and shirt for Nat. These two always seem to get the short end of the stick and they deserve better.
I'm not watching this but I just checked for you. If there was a problem with subtitles it's been fixed. BTW, this happened with the special clips for The Next Prince when it aired in 2025.

I couldn't deal with Khemjira and all that mysticism stuff however I did watch a good part of the last episode because I wanted to see the chemistry between Keng and Namping. I thought they were great together and look forward to a different BL with them.

I made it through 30 seconds. That was an assault on the ears. Who said Americans are better than Thai? I just don't like your comedy and I don't think it translates to Western audiences.
I don't understand. The entire story was told in the series. They got married, they adopted the two little kids and lived happily ever after. What's left to tell?

Just thought I'd follow up. The D Dorm has now dropped out of the top 10 on IQIYI although it is still listed as one of the popular shows. Mr Fanboy remains in the top 10. So the best we can make out of that is that Mr Fanboy is way more popular than The D Dorm.
I also have to assume that DMD already knew that they weren't going to get a western audience for this because nothing beyond episode 1 has been made available in the US on YouTube.

What was that ceremony at the wedding with the bowls and what were they putting into them?
Couldn't they find a jacket that was small enough for Nat? The sleeves were all the way to the ends of his hands. The shirt was enormous too.

I thought the episode was lacking emotion, especially the wedding scene but I love seeing these two together.
And PS I miss the theme song that played from episodes 1 through 9.
