When ML got his shirt back with the stain removed, he didn't lie to the FL about it. He actually told the truth as soon as he saw her again even though he knew it meant he wouldn't see her again, which he obviously wanted to do. How rare is that in romantic dramas? It's almost unheard of for the ML or FL not to lie about something.

I mostly watch CDramas and leads lie all the time. Maybe JDramas are different, but it certainly is refreshing to see truth being told upfront!

I'm impressed by one particular decision in this drama.

This was so good. Esther Yu was amazing as were Ding Yuxi and all the actors. The child actors were about the best I've seen in Chinese dramas. I so rarely manage to get through a long drama without FF, but I got through this one with no problems.

I appreciate getting to know how this whole controversy started and how it impacted Huangyang Tian Tian. What a heavy burden for such a young girl to have to deal with when it all started in such an innocent way. It's sad that she feels like it was her fault because she wasn't grown up enough at 18. She's learned a lesson about fame in such a hard way.

And it's also really sad to read the way it impacted her younger brother and her grandparents who had nothing to do with it. The devastation these kinds of incidents have don't just affect a single individual.

I figured this was only a part of the interview and that the full context would give a much different view, but I haven't seen the full interview and don't know where to find it. I have been thinking a lot about what he said because I'm a fan and I think he's a really intelligent, thoughtful person who isn't afraid to say things that others might be. You've expressed a lot of what I have thought, too.

Every innovation that humans have created have been practically hailed as the death of mankind. The internet itself is as much loved as it is hated. Everything we do has bad and good. It's what we make of it that makes the difference. LYN is correct when he says you need to move with the times, because you can't undo what's out there. It's up to us as people to use AI for good, because it's going to be used to bad whether we like it or not.

I don't think being put off by wardrobe is at all silly because clothes and hairstyles really affect my ability to enjoy a drama.

I tried watching this last night and it just did not grab me at all. It's 2019, but it looked more dated and the FL being that much of a fan girl at her age was too much. Even in my youth I would never have saved an empty water bottle. That says arrested development to me!

You know what's interesting about this situation is I read that Peter Ho has gotten 6 high-quality endorsements and has more coming. He seems to have gained more than the two leads all because of that foundation-wearing general comment. PR can only take one so far, but organic interest is still the best.

Just going by what the synopsis says, so you may be right. And I also thought people probably wouldn't believe it, but it's such a scary warning and the only way you'd find out if it was true would be to die! Certainly sounds like an intriguing drama.

I don't really know her, but she looks slender and healthy to me. I don't see bone thin like I've seen with some actresses. Maybe others who know her well can judge better than I can.
