I wished it was more than 38 eps, i can watch it many times without getting bored.

This is one of the best slice of life drama I’ve ever watched, i don't watch this genre that much but since i like bailu i guve a try when i first heard there will be 38 eps, I was worried there might be filler ep but I was wrong. Each and every eps were interesting. The camera work, scenery, script, acting, everything was flawlesAll the actors delivered outstanding performances and it didn’t feel like acting. The drama was so fresh, realistic and pure. It teaches you how to live life as it is and to find stability. It also shows how strong the bonds between their childhood friendships and their familiesAt first, XWH was desperate to succeed and forgot about humanity and had no empathy but XFH helped him realize success wasn’t everything and to live and love life. And that there’s nothing wrong with failing and that anyone could get up again, Bailu delivered her best and did really well although she usually don’t act in modern realistic dramas. Her acting was raw and her eyes were filled with emotions. She even cut her hair, put on heavy tanned makeup, wore braces although it was uncomfortable without any complaints.

Not for weak people..

I think this drama is the best xianxia in past two years.
A Yue did not choose to forgive Bai Jiusi easily because of his efforts, because what you call good for me may not be what I want. There are also the group portraits of immortals fighting against monsters and disciples of Jingyun Sect fighting against the enemy together. Xuanwei said before his death that immortals should not only think about becoming immortals, but also pay more attention to the land and people where they are. In the end, he sacrificed himself to relieve the drought. And going back to the past is only to relieve the cause and effect of another reincarnation and cannot affect this reincarnation. Because the cause and effect have been determined...
Feud really established why people cultivate immortals, how to cultivate immortals, and what immortals should do. It is no longer about how to choose between loving one person and loving the world, nor is it about the distinction between good and evil, and good and evil cannot co-exist. It is even more not that the world is in chaos because of hatred caused by love...
the plot was meant for the strong people who can really understand the deep meaning of the characters emotions, it was a great journey to follow this drama..

Full entertainment, something hard to forget especially the characters that appears in every arc.

I really enjoyed this drama a lot. Bai Lu is truly my favorite actress—I know her techniques and abilities well, yet with every new role, she never fails to amaze me by adding something fresh to her acting and improving in every performance. As a fan, I’m completely satisfied with her outstanding performance, and I’m definitely looking forward to her upcoming roles, confident that she will shine once again.

The acting from all the cast was also great, the directing was good, and the cinematography was absolutely stunning—it perfectly matches my personal taste, making it one of the best visual works in this genre so far. The costumes were elegant and beautiful, and I really loved the makeup style—it was very fitting, especially for Bai Lu, who looked absolutely gorgeous in those outfits and makeup.

I feel sorry that they cut so many of her fight scenes. She would return from filming covered in bruises, yet they cold-heartedly removed her scenes, wasting all her effort. If only I could get my hands on the production team that missed the chance to show Bai shuo in her true form—stronger and more of a fighter. But alas, it’s too late now.

If someone asks whether it’s worth watching… hmm, well, if you’re a fan of this genre, then it’s definitely worth a try. You can watch a few episodes and see if it works for you.
I will not forget MM and each character.

The story is good in beginning but gets boring in the last.

It had a good start then fell downhill, the story overall all is good and fresh but something is lacking especially fl acting didn't caught my attention or interest at all, also she overacted so much and i don't think she understands her character well, aldo there is a lack of chemistry between mls... the second couple chemistry was better tbh.

I feel like it would be better with another fl and ml, and a better direction too cuz the direction team fckd the things here they started ok tgen they messed with everything in the end...

The drama that u should watch, if u love dramas that have a mix of everything!!

This is about a batch of cadets in Arsenal Military Academy including Xie Xiang (Bai Lu) who disguised herself as her departed brother to be able to enroll in the school for boys, Gu Yanzhen, the spoiled son of a high-ranking government official and Shen Junshan, the second son of a prominent business family who befriended a mysterious woman, Jin Xianrong, while studying abroad. How the cadets, as well as their classmates and friends, get involved in the Sino-Japanese War is told in a spectacular fashion. The sad parts made me bawl and the triumphant scenes made me go wow! The romance arcs are not bad either in the end it's not a romnance drama. The development of the relationship between Xie Xiang and Gu Yanzhen from bickering roommates to lovers is amusing. BaiLu made the role, lovable, imbuing it with heart-melting faithfulness, playfulness, funny, her insane duality to be feminine and handsome...

One of the Best Palace dramas

One of the best political Chinese dramas I’ve seen. Very well written and the acting was phenomenal. I enjoyed that the main characters had a dark side and through that darkness they were able to find the good within themselves. The passionate love between the main characters and how it developed was outstanding, they saw each other for who they truly were and loved each other regardless. It was also refreshing to see strong female characters that were mature and not so childish and helpless. I don’t mind seeing a female character start off innocent and then grow into a mature woman but some dramas just portray the female extremely childish til the end. Not the case with this drama, all the females held strong roles with personality.

so enjoyable and sweet

Both male and female leads have played their character the best. Its the little nuisances that fill the details of characters. Dylan wang as Shi Yan is not a big sharer, actor plays the character well through his eyes and movement of his fingers to express emotions. Where on other hand, shuyi is inexperienced in behavior for relationship, and keeps us engaged at times frustrated with her nuisances. The story takes leaps n bounds jump in emotional development and character development of the leads relationship after they patch up. So patience is the key, but the end of story is completely satisfying. Especially the extra episode of their wedding!!!
