I agree! The makeup is done really poorly. Her more natural makeup is a lot better! I wish that they just changed her makeup style to more natural. She's so beautiful already! I personally like her chemistry with Wang Yibo in the drama as well!

Zhao Liying is definitely a talented actress in my opinion after seeing 4 of her other works! This drama may not show her full potential as an actress due to the writing, but she is definitely capable!

Also, the age gap between her and WYB doesn’t really bother me at all like it does for a lot of people here it seems. I’ve seen plenty of dramas where the age gap is even more than just 10 years apart between the leads so I have no problem with this. The chemistry between them is good for me, so that’s all that matters!

Everyone has different tastes, but I personally love the leads’ interactions!

I personally really enjoy this drama so far! I agree, it's not the best in terms of plot, but I'm enjoying the interaction between Wang Yi Bo and Zhao Li Ying a lot. I love both of their characters and how they are so different but also complement one another. The chemistry for me is also good! Everyone has different tastes of course, and I do personally recommend this drama! I can't wait for more episodes :D

Yes I agree! I saw that many people are annoyed with XuanJi, but besides the misunderstandings near the end, she has always protected SiFeng as well , even before she knew what love is! SiFeng did a LOT for XuanJi but she also tries to save him many times.

Oh my gosh, I absolutely agree with you! The FL in Ashes of Love really irritated me, and even though she had character development, I like XuanJi's character development better (although she did annoy near the last bit of the drama).

I loved Ashes of Love. One of my all time favorites to this day, but I prefer Love and Redemption over it! I love the characters in Love and Remdemtion better, and the couple here is better for me too! I absolutely LOVE SiFeng over Phoenix (Ashes of Love), and I like XuanJi better than Jinmi as well (although XuanJi does have her annoying moments).

Oh my gosh yes! After having post-drama depression for months after finishing The Untamed, I finally found this drama to fill the void in my heart! I love SiFeng so much :') Cheng Yi is such a charismatic actor!
