I am so happy and relieved. I didn't even care for spoilers and checked out how it ends. Though I am only just…
Yes! I think they had amazing chemistry too! I loved the chemistry between Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan from The Untamed, so I thought I was going to be biased and not enjoy Wang Yibo's chemistry with Zhao Liying as much, but I surprisingly liked it! I hope they can act in another project together as well, with a better script and production! They are both so talented, and I feel bad for the hate on Zhao Liying's acting just because of the poor writing.
Not the best drama I’ve seen in terms of production and plot. The dubbing is also quite bad, and the story doesn’t flow too well, BUT I really enjoyed the chemistry between Wang Yibo and Zhao Liying! The relationship between Xie Yun & Zhou Fei is absolutely adorable and I love their storyline a lot despite the shortcomings of the drama overall! I find myself rewatching their scenes a lot!
I came in with LOW expectations and was just watching casually so maybe that’s why I didn’t find this drama as bad as some people did. I think the actors did a really good job considering what they had to work with. I know some people thought that Zhao Liying's acting was "bad" in this drama, but in my opinion, I think her character is just cold and stoic, especially in the beginning. She warms up to Xie Yun a lot later on in the later episodes.
To people who are thinking of watching this, you should give it a try despite a lot of the negative reviews! You may end up liking the drama, who knows? I came into this drama with lower expectations and just for a casual watch, and I ended up thinking that it was not as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be, but this is just my own personal opinion! Watch for yourself and see what you think! Also, it gets a lot better later on. The beginning episodes were a little boring and slow, but it improves from episode 25 and onwards for me personally.
Xie Yun is definitely one of my favorite characters now. He's just so warm, smart, and sweet. I love love LOVE the way Wang Yibo portrays Xie Yun! And not to mention, Wang Yibo looks AMAZING in this drama <3
I think they will cut the scene , for example the end of the ending song there is Zhou Fei wearing red dress and…
I hope they won't cut it too. It looks like such an important scene. Maybe they didn't want to show it in the preview to surprise us? I guess we will wait and see!
In the previews in the past, there’s a scene with Zhou Fei on a snowy mountain in a red dress with Xie Yun sitting on the side while she fights, looking unconscious. It looks like she was also trying to save him while she was crying too. (This scene was also shown in the closing scene of the episodes) Did they take this scene out or? Just wondering because I didn’t see this scene in the previews of the final episodes.
Despite this drama's shortcomings, I really do love the relationship between Zhou Fei & Xie Yun. I just love their chemistry and dynamic so much that I'm willing to watch until the end just for their storyline ^_^ Their interactions always make me so happy!
I like ZLY and WYB but I find the story so boring and none of the side characters or otherMLs are interesting.…
I do agree that Princess Agents was a lot better. I was able to re-watch that drama many times! I do like the relationship between Xie Yun & Zhou Fei though, and I personally love their dynamic and chemistry, so that's what's keeping me going XD
The sexism...10 years age gap is not a problem when it's the guy who's older but when it is the girl everyone…
The sexism is 100% real in this statement.... wow Who cares if she’s married and has a kid? She’s an ACTRESS for a reason. Many actors who get married STILL acts in romance dramas. You may not be able to see the chemistry and that’s fine, but bringing in her personal married life to justify it is just wrong. And this drama isn’t for everyone. So I suggest you drop it if you dislike it.
Haven't started this show yet, but it looks like pretty mixed feelings. I think lots of people were so excited…
It definitely starts off really slow! I didn't get into the drama until around episode 24-27 and later on! It's definitely NOT the best in terms of plot and production, but I think the actors are doing a great job with what they have & I also love the OST's! Definitely not the best drama that I've seen, but I enjoy it more than I thought I would despite all the negative reviews. I also love the chemistry between Wang Yibo & Zhao Liying and their romance in the drama. Their interaction is one of the main reasons why I'm caught up with the drama! This drama is definitely not for everyone, but you just have to watch it for yourself and see! :D
