Thinking of re-watching their scenes!

I loved the ending OST (Wuhua) and Wang Yibo's Xi Wei the most!

Just finished the final episode with subs. I'm so emotional right now :'(
Going to miss YunFei so much! One of my favorite couples that I've come across. Despite having many shortcomings, I really appreciate the romance in this drama between Xie Yun and Zhou Fei. The most wholesome, pure, warmest, and healthiest relationship I've seen in a long time in drama land!

I personally love the chemistry between Wang Yibo and Zhao Liying in here! They did an amazing job <3

Finally watched episode 50 with english subs, and it's by far my favorite episode!
I just adore Xie Yun & Zhou Fei together so much <3 Despite this drama's shortcomings (bad production, bad editing, poor writing, and bad dubbing lol), I still enjoyed watching this as a casual watcher coming in with lower expectations! What really made the drama for me is the chemistry between Wang Yibo and Zhao Liying! They really made the romance between Xie Yun and Zhou Fei work despite their age gap!

I just love the dynamic between Xie Yun and Zhou Fei! Xie Yun is just so warm and kind to her. He helped her through being her mentor basically and strategist, while she's the fighter and warrior. His love for her is just so wholesome and warm, and seeing them together makes me so happy. The best part is that there is NO LOVE TRIANGLE or ANGST in their relationship! He does everything to make her happy and she finds every way to save him even when everyone told her to give up (including him). I just thought that their relationship is so so wholesome <3

Despite this starting off really slow and having a bunch of production problems and editing problems, it's still a nice casual watch! I did skip a lot of scenes in the beginning though because it was so slow, but I find myself rewatching a lot of Xie Yun and A Fei scenes <3

It's really slow, but it does pick up around episode 25-27ish personally for me! I definitely stuck through the drama for Xie Yun and A Fei's romance though XD I definitely fast forwarded many scenes though, but I find myself rewatching Wang Yibo & Zhao Liying's scenes a lot XD

Xie Yun was very strong in his own way! Not to mention, he was very knowledgeable and super smart! How I wish that this drama can have a do-over because it really had potential! I found myself skipping so much in the beginning! Luckily it did pick up later on, and the romance developed well. I absolutely adore the chemistry between Zhao Liying and Wang Yibo. I kept on watching for their interaction!

I agree! I love having strong female characters! It's time for the weak female troupe to change! Xie Yun was also strong in his own way. He was super smart and strategic while Zhou Fei was the fighter. They make a great team!

I actually like it that we have a strong female lead! I'm all for girl power. Plus, Wang Yibo does get his martial arts back after he's cured of his poison so he becomes strong at the end too! He's also very smart and witty and strong in his own way! You don't need to be physically strong to be considered "strong."

Yeah, I do agree that Li Sheng had good character development! I definitely disliked him a lot at first, but he got so much better!
And I agree! I wish the plot was a more interesting to also go along with the romance between our leads. I find myself skipping a lot of scenes as well sadly. Such a waste of potential of the leads though with the poor production quality and also the bad editing :'( This drama had potential to be really good too if they had a better production and editing and flow of the story! I heard the novel is a lot better so this is upsetting. Luckily, I came in with low expectations and just watched casually, so I was able to enjoy it a bit more than some others I believe XD

Your opinion isn't unpopular at all! A lot of people are not satisfied with the production quality as well, including me. It does suck though because Wang Yibo and Zhao Liying did a great job here, and I adore their chemistry and interactions on screen! Their main storyline is what kept me going! I agree that it started off really slow and did not pick up until episode 25-27ish. How I wish this drama could have a do-over and had better production quality, better dubbing, and better plot flow. Also wished that they focused on our leads more instead of the side characters but that's my personal opinion. It wasn't a terrible drama, but definitely was not the best. I still really love the romance between Xie Yun and Zhou Fei so that's what really made the drama for me.

It really gets going around episode 25 for me! It does start off slow, but hang in there! I personally LOVE the relationship between Yibo and Zhao Liying in the drama so it was worth it for me, and I like their on-screen chemistry too XD <3

The romance starts around episode 27! I agree that it does start off slow and boring, because I found myself skimming too. After the leads got together though and more romantic moments showed up, I ended up finishing all the episodes! The romance is slow due to the fact that the novel also has a slow romance I heard. In fact, the novel even had less romance so they added more romantic scenes here according to some comments I read on Youtube about it!

I suggest giving it a try until episode 31 or something, or you can just skim to the scenes where Xie Yun and Zhou Fei are! I think their relationship is very cute and worth watching! I do agree that the plot isn't the best and neither is the production, but I stuck around for our leads XD

I heard there was less romance in the novel than in the drama actually, but I’m not sure if that’s true! Just what I heard!

There are many comments that are displeased with the drama and that’s fine because obviously everyone has their own opinions. But there are also people like you who CONSTANTLY come back to comment even though you’ve dropped a drama a while ago. I remember your comments since the beginning already. Just like you have your own opinion, a lot of people have their own opinion as well - we just think that it’s better worth your time to watch another drama instead of continously coming back to this page if you hate this drama so much. You’ve already made your point, we heard it, so please just move on. It’s not my favorite drama ever and I’ve had my fair share of problems with it too, but personally me and a lot of others still enjoyed it so that’s why we are still on this page. It’s better worth your time commenting on something else that you actually like.
