Haha thank u all for your POV!! For me it depends as well, i haven't felt 100% for a Kdrama since Hello Monster so the last few years i just selected a few that are my style or have the actors i love and trust and usually wait since most of the times i feel like there are tons of fillers that are skip worthy. It's like disney movies, i appreciate tons of things from them but now with the goggles of experience i can see the problematic and cringy stuff by miles and that mixed with the basic tropes throw me off quite a lot. I wanna fall in love with kdramas again, like, i thought Nevertheless would do but the second half felt completely flat. Hopefully this one will help.

In all honesty, i hope that it won't be just a longer in deep version of the movie. I don't mind that for an start, but i truly hope it won't end at the same point as the movie, it was good for what it was, but my heart cannot take a full season that ends at the same exact bittersweet / mostly sad point and then wait to see if there's a 3 season next year.
I wanna know what's next for our babies. And also, i think that it would be, not boring, but rather anticlimatic to know all the major things that are gonna happen in 9 episodes, in order and how the entire thing ends. It would give no room for surprises, for new emotions... i hope it isn't the case, because for the ones that have seen the movie like me, i'm afraid that it would be flat. It can work as a first episode or two at most, so the ones who haven't seen the movie could get at the same point as we are, but no a full season of the same please.
Still, really looking forward to watch it and hope it would be going forward in time. One of the very best.

I saw on the community part of their yt channel that they opened a line group for fans, and in a few days they are going to provide an exclusive behind scenes there. Maybe they will explain their future agenda there, but so far i haven't been able to enter.

I mostly watch content about minorities and i wish i can totally deconstruct my persona and get to the core of this issues so i can be the best version of myself for me and for everyone else.

If i recall correctly, he is being pushed to see his father, who is very sick, but also a terrible human being. Winston has claustrophobia because of him, he used to punish him by lockin him up in closets and now he cannot even face that he is gay without having panick attacks. When Jaime confronts and kisses him... that triggers all this issues.

I wished the production was better quality and the premise and all... yeah, not so great. Also, the fact that the actual deep story is overlooked and only told not really well and in a few scenes the last couple of episodes is disapointing. But i have a soft spot for this kind of strugling characters and stories, so i was really rooting for him and invested in his happiness haha.
It leave us with no resolution, i would really watch a second season in order to see what happens next with this two and specially with Winston's family.

Is this really going to be postponed till 2022? I find it quite werid because if so, putting out this ep 0 half a year before that makes no sense, the flame will fade quite a bit in such a long period of time.

And this is exactly why Bas and Marco were shitty friends. Ait and James were always there to help them and never put Bas on a corner. They were entitled to their own truth as well as Bas was to his own. So freaking disapointed, fr.

I agree with your points, the speech, the not focuse on Marco and Bas romance, the acting... yes.
But for me, is a bad ending because i don't like how they managed it. I'm totally disapointed on Marco and Bas. Same as Bas was entitled to decide for himself how he could get on terms with his trauma, and deal with it the way he wanted and whenever he was ready, so did James and Ait, they should have been entitled to their own truth and be able to decide by themselves. For me, Marco and Bas should have told them their plan (specially because they always were on their side and helping Bas) and then decide if they wanted to reveal their love as well or not. We know that they would have not betrayed Bas with the Tee situation. Everyone wanted him to pay.

I still like the plot and believe is an important thing to talk about in the bl industry, and it was very well acted, so there's that. But this ending was terribly disapointing. Maybe because i was taking this quite seriously.

So, why Marco and Bas had to do that behind James and Ait backs? they supported Bas all the way and were there for him. They didn't need to be outed against their will in order to make Tee pay.
Same as Bas was the one entitled to his own truth and do whatever he wanted with it and whenever he was ready, so did James and Ait, but he and Marco always decided by themselves and put them in really bad spots. If they really wanted to help them be free and happy together (i believe so) this wasn't the way. That's not what a friend does.

And last but not least, the series failed to make Tee pay and be reivindicative enough. What he did was a crime, and that needs more than being outed in a press conference with a video of him trying to get his way with actors and run away. I could have done without the endind song and use those 3 minutes to see how things went for him after the press conference, see him paying.

I feel that they had a nice idea, story and all, but they don't know how to execute it properly, maintain the momentum and make it explode at the perfect timing, basically they don't know how to narrate and elaborate the story and the continuity of it in order to tug our heartstrings as something lke this should.
Hope it's only in the midle of it and they at least get a good grip of how to end it.

Sweet, cute and japanese emotional style. So far on my top 5 of 2021. The main actor, Jin is hot as hell, his face is just right on my alley, but man, his hands, i never thought i had a thing for hands till now haha.
Love the entire casting and love me a japanese rock band drama. No other country conveys music based dramas like Japan, they really express all their emotions through the songs beautifully. I just wish they delivered on the love deppartment as much as in the music/emotional one, more like in the intimacy, touches, development and all that jazz between the lovers, it would be the icing of the cake, but most of the times, Japan is still Japan after all.

After I promised you the moon, i have a hole, is hard to match the level of Nadao.
Currently i'm watching stuff like Call it what you want 2, Love area or the Yearbook, not that great tho, the best one is the last, and it's getting a bit... too much, let's see.
As for what it's coming... again, not that much that excites me, Bite me with Mark from LBC starts the same day as this one (ep 11) and i kinda have some hope there. Also, Love Beneath the Stars just started, is a 6 ep series continuation of the movie, i liked that one so i have yet to see if the series makes it better or worse.
As for completed hidden gems... probably you saw most of what's there, I still cannot believe that some people haven't watched the best bl that GMMTV has put out there, He's comming to me, so just in case. Not totally gems but good... I enjoyed stuff like Second chance, Dark blue and Moonlight, and for movies Ethernal summer, His, Location, Once in Memory (both parts)... but i wish i can find actual hidden gems to watch as well so if you find something... :)

I can have my opinion, and i personally didn't enjoy that they went there the same day that Marco took off a rope from Bas's neck.
I wanted better for them.

Marco just confessed a life long love to another guy and got rejected? Yes
Bas was having a suicide attempt caused by being raped and right after having sex? Totally
Is this toxic, too soon and a terrible way to start something between 2 damaged guys? Absolutely
Are they hot together? Indeed

Totally with you, never had an issue with his acting in LBC, he was good in that funny, oblivious, sweet and kinda dumb role :)
