You are totally right, is such a wrong lesson to put out there... twisted as hell. And in my eyes i could never see that as a oh poor saint, what a good soul, ike they try to do. Would it be that shameful if a protagonist wanted to have a sex life and meet people when he was single? Jesus.
I wish i could do that and stop watching some series (specially the last couple of months were bl and lgbt+ content has been awful), i'm the kind of person that even if i'm not enjoyong it i have to see it end. If only, if it's really really terrible, i wait till it's over and skip through everything just to get a grip.

What pride are you talking about. The person that i replied (not you) still said that being here exclusively for the bl "it's not something to be proud". It's still a judgemental statement and is still wrong to asume that the people that are indeed here for their story are just "fetishize couples BL" or the "people make that they want to see isolated BLs in a universe of their own / reduced to fantasy" comments. All that are judgemental and asumptions made by this person.
If this person wanted to know why people felt that way it could be either asking or they could read coments like por example mine where i explained why at first i was here for the entire drama but because of how they are handling it i'm only inmersed on the Ou wen x Mark relationship now. But opted for asumming the bad instead, so yes, still judgemental in my book.
But maybe i got too carried away, and i could have said it in a different way, i admit that i wasn't polite at all. You know, those are prejudices and stigmas that people that enjoy bl and lgbtq content (specially the ones that aren't part of the comunity or are still inside the closet) have to deal with and continuosly explain themselves to others, even plenty of people hide it as if it was something sameful, something that they shouldn't enjoy or watch . If something, we should normalize and encourage that people will make every type of love story normatives and we all have the right to prefer whatever even if it's not a love that reflects their heterosexual personal love life.

I feel like trying to make Fiat the standard bl passive bottom from thai bls they are taking away the only cool side that he had. If i disliked some of his ways before, now i cannot stand him, he comes across as fake, childish and a Martyr that gives his ass as a sacrifice.
And about them as a couple... is weird, they have hot, sweet, bonding moments and all, love to see that, but i still don't feel the love chemi between them in the way i like it, in the eyes, in the small things... is a bit dry of emotions.
My hopes are landing in the second couple Leon and Pob, let's see.

It's an ok but totally basic romance kdrama, not that bad for an at home weeked or so. My issue is that is one of the majority, the ones that follow the same tropes, at the same episodes, do the same overdue scenes and plotlines... It gets so redundant, unrealistic, cliché and boring that i end up rolling my eyes and skipping the last few episodes, because i totally know the plotlines that they always do with couples in this kind of scenarios. 6.5/10

Even if at first i came for the gay couple, i was here for the entire thing. Now i cannot watch it without skipping 70% of it, specially the main couple. Love me an older woman younger man love story, but they managed to make it boring, stupid in many ways and totally redundant. They make it way more complicated than what it actually is, the way they act (or don't act when they should) and fail to see things that are crystal clear is totally absurd... And let's not start with the nonsense of how the ex plotline is being developed. The icing of the cake is that the chemistry and feellings from the first 3 or 4 episodes have dried out, i don't even feel their atraction as of now.

For me it depends as well, i haven't felt 100% for a Kdrama since Hello Monster so the last few years i just selected a few that are my style or have the actors i love and trust and usually wait since most of the times i feel like there are tons of fillers that are skip worthy. It's like disney movies, i appreciate tons of things from them but now with the goggles of experience i can see the problematic and cringy stuff by miles and that mixed with the basic tropes throw me off quite a lot. I wanna fall in love with kdramas again, like, i thought Nevertheless would do but the second half felt completely flat. Hopefully this one will help.

Wondering if i should pull the trigger or wait till it's over and then binge it. The eternal struggle.

In all honesty, i hope that it won't be just a longer in deep version of the movie. I don't mind that for an start, but i truly hope it won't end at the same point as the movie, it was good for what it was, but my heart cannot take a full season that ends at the same exact bittersweet / mostly sad point and then wait to see if there's a 3 season next year.
I wanna know what's next for our babies. And also, i think that it would be, not boring, but rather anticlimatic to know all the major things that are gonna happen in 9 episodes, in order and how the entire thing ends. It would give no room for surprises, for new emotions... i hope it isn't the case, because for the ones that have seen the movie like me, i'm afraid that it would be flat. It can work as a first episode or two at most, so the ones who haven't seen the movie could get at the same point as we are, but no a full season of the same please.
Still, really looking forward to watch it and hope it would be going forward in time. One of the very best.

If i recall correctly, he is being pushed to see his father, who is very sick, but also a terrible human being. Winston has claustrophobia because of him, he used to punish him by lockin him up in closets and now he cannot even face that he is gay without having panick attacks. When Jaime confronts and kisses him... that triggers all this issues.

I wished the production was better quality and the premise and all... yeah, not so great. Also, the fact that the actual deep story is overlooked and only told not really well and in a few scenes the last couple of episodes is disapointing. But i have a soft spot for this kind of strugling characters and stories, so i was really rooting for him and invested in his happiness haha.
It leave us with no resolution, i would really watch a second season in order to see what happens next with this two and specially with Winston's family.

And this is exactly why Bas and Marco were shitty friends. Ait and James were always there to help them and never put Bas on a corner. They were entitled to their own truth as well as Bas was to his own. So freaking disapointed, fr.

I agree with your points, the speech, the not focuse on Marco and Bas romance, the acting... yes.
But for me, is a bad ending because i don't like how they managed it. I'm totally disapointed on Marco and Bas. Same as Bas was entitled to decide for himself how he could get on terms with his trauma, and deal with it the way he wanted and whenever he was ready, so did James and Ait, they should have been entitled to their own truth and be able to decide by themselves. For me, Marco and Bas should have told them their plan (specially because they always were on their side and helping Bas) and then decide if they wanted to reveal their love as well or not. We know that they would have not betrayed Bas with the Tee situation. Everyone wanted him to pay.

I still like the plot and believe is an important thing to talk about in the bl industry, and it was very well acted, so there's that. But this ending was terribly disapointing. Maybe because i was taking this quite seriously.

So, why Marco and Bas had to do that behind James and Ait backs? they supported Bas all the way and were there for him. They didn't need to be outed against their will in order to make Tee pay.
Same as Bas was the one entitled to his own truth and do whatever he wanted with it and whenever he was ready, so did James and Ait, but he and Marco always decided by themselves and put them in really bad spots. If they really wanted to help them be free and happy together (i believe so) this wasn't the way. That's not what a friend does.

And last but not least, the series failed to make Tee pay and be reivindicative enough. What he did was a crime, and that needs more than being outed in a press conference with a video of him trying to get his way with actors and run away. I could have done without the endind song and use those 3 minutes to see how things went for him after the press conference, see him paying.

I feel that they had a nice idea, story and all, but they don't know how to execute it properly, maintain the momentum and make it explode at the perfect timing, basically they don't know how to narrate and elaborate the story and the continuity of it in order to tug our heartstrings as something lke this should.
Hope it's only in the midle of it and they at least get a good grip of how to end it.
