Damn, first, thank you to Taiwanfunan for the subs, secondly, this is going directly to my trash can. They played us, no bl and there is actually not even a gay character. The series itself is bad, starting from the format, the writting, the pacing... 1/10.
yes. well christmass guy confuses me. i was such a harcore haneul pureum shipper LOL, but i also really like christmas…
Totally with you! Even when i was watching it the comments were full of people rooting for them, why would you as a production company see all the hype and not give it a go? I wasn't a hardcore fan of The Vampire Diaries but watching the first seasons it was the same in the sense that everyone could feel and wanted the FL with the 2 guy, and ended up being end game. I had hopes for this to be similar, that after meeting other people they will end up seeing what we all saw. Too bad that, if they ever pick up this project again, it would be at least 1 season without that happening. Oh well, i guess that, at least for now, we can only make it happen in our heads or reading a fanfic if there's any... still bitter though haha
Oh you are talking about God. I remember how huge all that became back then. For me, is not that i will actively hate on them or disregard every project that they are in, not at all, i'm totally going to watch this and hope to love it, but i just simply won't consider myself a fan of someone that says things like that, as a joke or as something that they think, specially if you don't reflect on it later on. Let's see. For me, if your reasons are that you don't like the BL industry and don't wanna work in it (because yes, probably there is a lot of shit under the carpet), there are other ways to say it, you can be straigh about the issues the particular industry has, you can be evading and end things nicely, you can clarify that is not because of the sexuality of the characters but other reasons... but is not necesary to say things that can be hurtful specially for members of the community that already deal with that and worse on a daily and felt mocked and downgraded. That's why i brought Saint to the conversation, because him being in a very similar situation, opted to say that he will not decide based on the sexuality of the character. He may as well never act on a BL again for whatever reasons, but his ways were respectful and normalized a bit that you can act as a gay character, as a trans (he did a cameo in few episodes of a lakorn, not bl) and as an hetero, acting is just acting at the end of the day.
I will be manifesting a 3rd one!! For me, totally needed after how they endend this one. We, but specially Kong deserve to get more, further, i need him to hear from Film "i like you too" *hug/kiss him*. I was about to flip my table when he said the infamous "i don't like guys", but i think is a bit different than our typical trope Sotus like. They are teens, probably he never liked a guy before (even if he had chances with plenty) but did like girls and now he likes Kong, clearly, so his sexuality is just broader than he thought, at least i hope so. His personality is also a bit playful and coy, and plays games saying things that are not what he actually thinks, he likes to have the uper hand. Not that fond of that, but it feels like a guy that Kong can peel off and make him fall even harder for him with his charismatic, confident and honest self. Kong is gold, love this kind of characters on bl, guys that are sure of what they are, what they want and go for it, with honesty and sweet but intense attitude.

Same bestie! I was shipping them hardcorely, and in all honesty, never got really into him with the actress, there wasn't a love story like the one with Pureum, no spark. And if they still make this series they had a new actress for haneul gf, so that's even weirder, i rarely enjoy when they change the actors. I just really want a continuation for Pureum, and the Christmas one ended with a cliffhanger... i still see her and haneul as end game tho haha
Your comment makes me want to give it a go! It sounds like it's a bit more realistic/relatable than your typical…
We are on the same boat! This is why i commented, because it happens to me time after time and i can hardly enjoy japanese romance dramas because of all the problematic and theatrical stuff going on. I won't say this is a masterpiece or anything like than in my book, but i was pleasantly surprised with it. If only they could show the actual romantic moments in a more intense and realistic way... but the story is quite cool and my favourite thing is the women being the main focus, their life struggles, managing jobs, dreams, goals... i recommend it as a light thing to tune, a rom com.
i got frustrated every time they switched over to the 2nd couple this ep kjdhgs *taps watch repeatedly* we don't…
Totally, idk how on earth they managed to waste 10 episodes of such a top quality pairing, it really upsets me. At this point may as well have put them stare at each others for the entire ep and would have been better already. Terrible empty this ep 10.
I keep trying to see the good things about this drama and overlooking the rest, but they seriously make it hard. Another week of 20 minutes of lukewarm emptiness. I don't know if they (director and screenwritter mostly) didn't want to or didn't know how to, but what a waste.
WHAT A GOOD WATCH!!! I have been watching Jdramas since early teen days, and what i could digest then, is no longer able to pass through my throat. Even in High School days i cringed and was mad at plenty of them, imagine now in my 20's. Plenty of Jdramas are now just unbearable, have been strugling to find quality japanese light romance dramas with a profound story that feels relatable, an slice of life, human, real, with people that are far from perfect, unique, not the same stereotypical portray of guys and specially girls. This was sooooo enjoyable. Not that it's a remarcable one in my life, but it was a great and fun watch, and i took many things from it. Yes, is a love story, but is a love story betweeen people, people who have jobs, friends, dreams, a life on their own, that act like adults, talk like adults and are independent people that undestand that having a partner doesn't mean to put a silly childish and cute facade of what the other wants and forget about yourself as an individual. The story is great as well, doesn't follow the japanese tropes and formulas that get me on my nerves and is actually well thought and realistic. My only issue is the lack of physical contact and intimacy between people that like each others, are together and even live under the same roof. But other than that, they acted like adults, and specially loved the women here, all of them individual, they aren't all a caricature cut to please the guys perspective of a kawaii submisive girl that acts, thinks and gets shy and all like she had the brain of a 12yo. They were real women with different personalities, goals, passions, loves, ups and downs... Sooooo great to see.
For real? He said that? I'm shocked. I knew that he said that he wasn't going to act on BLs ever again but damn, those words... I cannot see him on the same light. For example, i love and follow Saintsup, and even if he is producing a Bl now and working on thai dramas and movies (hetero) as a lead, he said that he would work on Y and every industry and doesn't care about his character sexuality but rather get good characters that will make him grow as an actor. Now that's the kind of actors i will support.
Fr, is clearly a syndrome worth to be studied. I don't have all this patience and high tolerance for anything else haha

A beautifully told and acted story, i went back to high school for 17 minutes.

"Lifeless mess" LMAO, that's the perfect way to, in short, describe this series.
