Nooo, Shi Woon!!!! I really enjoy your refreshing moments, Why did you do this to me!!! haha He did one of my silly pet peeves on this episode, i really cannot when they ask or buy someting to eat/drink and just get one bite or literally leave it without touching it on screen. At least show it empty or take it with you LOL
I would have a very different opinion of this series if they made it half of the episodes and 46 min long each. The reason that it feels that is slower than me when i wake up is because of the short episodes where just one or two scenes have meat for the main plotline, and then you have to wait one week for another 20 minutes with 5 of them with substance. We have been waiting 2 weeks for the ex drama, and this ep just showed the last week preview, so we have to wait another week to actually get the tea. If they had combined 2 episodes, it would have felt like a normal progression of events (even if the romance is slow burn, i like that) and every episode would have been more gratifying.
Can anyone give me other recommendation with similar genre like this one??Male chases female, age gap and not…
I didn't like this one because they made it too Jdrama cliché, but i love dramas with this plotline. One of the last that i enjoyed was the korean one Search: WWW
I was thinking about starting this one now that the nightmare of Y Destiny is over, but you guys and the rating are making me think that this can be even worse than the former...
"Allowing" you to go out with your friends (this was out of character for Puth x Kaeng, at this point i rather not have another series of them if this company is going to ruin their relationship) Then celebrating the birthday of your boyfriend's dead boyfriend all together on the table... istg, this was the last straw that this nightmare needed to be a cringe fest. Tir looking and smiling while Jia and Masuk were having a "hot" moment in the kitchen will haunt me LOL After that it was too much for me, i skipped the get together, and totally closed the window when they started with the pool scenes will all of them saying bullshit. I just couldn't do it. Thank you, next.
Well, as we all have different taste when it comes to food, fashion, music... we do with BLs. Is not in my top…
Yes, i can see why for many he can feel a bit one dimensional. Hopefully they will give him more deepness later on. I am just asuming why he acts like that and how he can flourish in the future so, who knows, we will have to wait and see. I liked how he asked Da Oh all those questions about him acting the way he does, but i wanted him to be a bit more blunt and tell him why his way of thinking is twisted, hopefully soon. And another thing that i enjoyed about him is how he acted normally with the boyfriend thing when he was confronted, he never shown disgust or was weirded out, maybe it can be that he is a bit expresionless tho haha
I'm still not getting why everyone likes this so much. This episode was much more interesting than the previous…
Well, as we all have different taste when it comes to food, fashion, music... we do with BLs. Is not in my top as of now, i am more a To my Star kinda type, but for people with different taste, can be. If i have to guess, probably people that like teen high school fluffy romances with kdrama flavor see in this the first full lenght representation for the BL community. They are hyped and so far the drama is good enough. Supporting this and giving it love can mean to finally get a feet in the door of a conservative and non lgbt friendly industry. I'm all in for that.
As for the chemistry i think that they are just setting the premise in this first episodes, also, they wanna play with who would be end game so i can understand why there are not many moments there, hopefully they will come later on and specially now after what happened at the end. Why i prefer them as end game? Da Oh is the type of guy that uses the excuse of being nice to not face things, he plays this role of perfection but it's all a facade. People like that hardly let you in. Is a pain to be their partner and feel like they just try to please you and others, they never show their true self, you can only love a fake version, not their real persona, and that ends up putting you through even more pain. Shin Woo is easy to read, i can sense that he has been suffering becasue of that gang, probably being outed or insulted for being gay, so he is trying to avoid Tae because he is feeling something, and don't wanna be in that position. I think that he is just afraid and when that fear stops, his personality is nicer and more real. So, if i have to choose, i'll rather choose the second type of personality and issues, it makes a better parner in my eyes.
I don't....like Da On lmaoBeing nice to people out of obligation, because you don't want to deal with conflicts/hurt…
Totally with you. Funny enough this is the kind of people that tend to hurt others felling the most. They mistake kindness with fakeness. I had people like that around and now that i'm an adult, this is in my top of things to avoid in a partner, i can asure you all that in real life, this is not a prince kind of guy, is someone that would make you unhappy, constantly on the verge and it would be a nightmare to try and connect, try to truly know them, because they only show you their perfecte facade, not their real self with downsides, strugles, likes and dislikes... no honesty whatsoever and feels like an act.
Shin Woo is being an ass, but i can see his motives, he probably was outed in high school by that dude and then he is afraid because he likes Tae. Don't wanna be hurt again so he tries to keep him away. Not the greatest tactic, but give me a guy like that over Da Oh any day LOL
Oh man, i miss my Ou Wen giving spoken slaps to Mark (and the audience) about his misconceptions and stereotypes about gay guys. It stoped at the best part : (
Elite rocks in general, although some of the stuff that goes down is pretty unlikely. lol Nitiman, on the other…
Yes, i did watch this season. When Rebeca enters the class the first ep i really gasped. I'm on the opposite of being a puritan or thinking that i have any say on how anyone should dress or present themselves, but as a show, is clearly objectification. I do see that usually girls are more forward with fashion and customization as a way of expressing ourselves than guys, is in the way we are raised, cultural and social gender stereotypes, but that is reaching here. This is about women being objectified in media, from back then when i cannot even remember how many movie posters i have seen where there's a woman body without a head or faceless (and what that implies) till now, shows there's still a long way to go and this show is still inside the "male gaze" in that sense. The ray of hope for me is that it pass the Bechdel test (includes more than 2 women, who have at least 1 conversation between them about something other than a man) but barely and happened because they explore a lesbian couple, and even there the main issues are Reb accepting a new person in her life AFTER A GUY BROKE HER HEART, her mom issues (those coversations about the mom drug trafficking, and wanting to change for her are barely the ones that give hope, pass the test and solidify their bond) AND THE SUGAR DADDY. Is so nice to hear that you are talking about this with your daughters!! I believe that educating next generations on this issues early on istead of having to deconstruct us when we are older is key.

Sorry to interrupt and intrud in the conversation haha. I'm not comming to fight guys, just to share my two cents ^^ As a girl that went to a private high school in Spain, the nuns would have set me on fire if i did wear that. They already looked at me like i was going to hell for being a redhead feminist and non believer LOL Anyways, Elite is your typical teen show that aligns with the culture and freedom of sexuality, gender and so on that teens experience in a big part of Europe. It doesn't pretend to be groundbreaking or deep, but entertaining, what surely is. If someone thinks for a sec that Nitiman is more entertaining, they have issues. Oh, i very much enjoy the sex scenes too, and the touches, the kisses, and everything in between. Yes, for some can be too graphic and prefere other type of sex scenes, more intimate in the love and tenderness department (i do like me both and i do feel like i need and want more in betweens, dramas that give us both, more mature but still passion and love) but hot teens do stuff like this and usually is more like the hot rather than the profound love. What it's weird is spooning every night with someone that you have loved for a while, at least that person reciprocates but there are barely moments of hotness or sexual tension between them. And the romance isn't even that heavy either, a couple of luke warm moments. They can take time with sex, but (excuse my realism for a sec) if you tell me that at this point they haven't even touch each others ds... no way. Then again, i know where i'm at, and where bl is at this moment (luckily flourising in some aspects, thank you Nadao, some Taiwanese shows...) so i never came to Nitiman expecting a lot on the exploring sexuality thing, but i did expected more from the conection, romance and little things, and SPECIALLY i did expected more from the story, a bit more meat. I don't hate it, but to me feels like another good oportunity that it's gone. They don't need to show explicit, but give us sensual and sexual tension, intimacy and connection scenes, is important for me, and this series and plenty of bl romances lack. Same as i come to bl because plenty of european and american queer shows lack on the cute romance department.
I was like... haven't I seen this scene before? I am so confused...lol
Indeed haha The first half of eps were about them continously having leg casts and now about Jin being drunk and Bbom taking him to his room to hug while sleeping. I just need for something MAJOR to happen. Oh and i want them to have better friends too, like, wtf.
