This is my theory I hope it be like that First After FL hear that the SML that she should divorce the ML and you…
Although I want to believe in that theory, I don't think it is the case because not only would take all the "meaning" of the scene, but also based on the trailer and the preview.
It seems to me that, unfortunately, she lost her memories. Saying that, I do think that she knew what to do before she lost the memories just that she didn't have time to it.
She lost her memory as a side effect from the illness she has. And she doesn't remember he wanted to divorce her and all. So she still think he genuine loves her.
Fair enough. Usually I go based on the synopsis plus the comments because I don't like to abandon a drama so in order to not abandon I need to be extra careful.
Honestly! Rather than humiliation I thought of it as both doing their jobs and keeping their personal lifes and…
I understand your insight, personally I also think of it. But from someone looking from afar, is humillating. And even from ML's POV it is. So that is why I chose this word.
And yes, he knew all that. That is why we can't blame FL for acting like this, because she thought he was fully aware of it. However we also can't totally blame ML, because at the end of the day people always have "expectations" for more.
I guess this would be easily solved in a conversation.
Honestly I can't understand why some people are defending one side and hating the other. I was even surprised by how some people painted the FL. When I started watching I thought I would see a b**** FL and a saint ML, but from the episodes I've seen so far it didn't seem like it.
I get the FL is cold, but you can clearly see that see has her walls up and care for the ML deep down. While even if the ML is treated unfairly by her family and her, he is not really behaving properly with her either. So, at the end of the day, both are at fault.
And no, there is no "more right and more wrong". FL constantly humillates him, but ML was "happy" with her possible death and he was even planning on how to get money from her after the divorce. So, it was a flaw x flaw situation where both parties were not acting so properly. At the end of the day, it could be all solved if they decided to communicate. Because it is clearly that they love each other and it is just a matter of solving their misunderstands.
I really like today's episode as well. However since tomorrow is the last episode I wonder how it will end. From today's episode and the preview it seems like there are a lot things still going on. Saying that, I really hope we get a good wrap up without rushing too much on things.
Everyone who likes "revenge plot" should watch this drama. Even if it does not as deep angst as the usual "revenge drama", this drama excel in almost everything and I'm genuiny surprised for it. I didn't expect to be that good.
Main good points for it.
1) Actors in general are very good here. 2) This is probably the best drama Park Min Young made. Don't get me wrong, she does good in a lot of dramas, but in this one her acting is showing why she is one of the best actress in Korea. 3) Couple is not that good, but are done very well accordingly to the comic. I just wish the MC was more "handsome", however I can't say Na In Woon is not doing a good job, because he is. 4) Story is entertaining and every episode show us something different (mainly cause of the actors, but the directors are also doing a great job). 5) Ost is good. We have at least 1 or 2 songs that you would listen in your playlist.
This drama is interesting. They could have made this drama a melodrama instead of Romcom though. It does have that type of potential. Really liked so far.
I watched the press conference video last night and hearing the director said that this My Demon drama had little…
Honestly, this doesn't mean anything. I've seen shows that were planning for years, but when they were released they were very bad.
Based on the first 6 episodes I think this drama will be Destined With You type of drama. Nothing crazy, but nothing bad as well. Saying that, it's been years since I thought we had anything that good. Last time was It's Okay not to be okay and maybeee Flower of Evil. The rest was pretty much mid or cool enough to entertain me for 16 episodes.
The visuals gives me Goblin vibes (like almost all k-dramas that have this type of tematic). The first 4 episodes looks good enough. The FL reminds me Crash Landing on You with all the family issue. The ML looks the ctrl c and ctrl v from Doom at Your Service or any other ML that we are not used to see. In summary all the cliches that are present in other dramas are here. Nothing is new.
Saying this, I do look forward to see more. I like the choice for ML, although I don't like the actor, he and the FL actress looks good enough together and suit for the respecitivies roles. So, I'm expecting they are going to do at least a decent job in the upcoming episodes.
In regard of the OST, I liked the choice for Roy Kim, he usually does great in his songs. However I do hope we can see the osts fitting the dramas well. It's been a huge while since I've seen good osts suiting to the characters stories and playing in the moments that are really needed it.
Anyway, my opinion might change as the drama goes. But one thing is certain: from the 4 first episodes is at least watchable.
I've seen a lot of people confused by the end of this drama and since I was rewatching it, I decided to explain the end to the ones who didn't understand.
Basically, the first episode is the key for the whole drama. We can see the main character from the future looking at the FL with love in his eyes and he draw a butterfly. And then, he didn't want to leave US. Why didn't he want to go to back to Korea?
So, going back to all the story, it seems clear for me that he (from the present) remembered his past life and the real reason on why he didn't want to go back to Korea at that time was because he knew she was in US.
And this is confirmed as well in the future when he met her again.
Of course, there are some plot holes, like: if he knew all that, he could very well wait for her in Korea. Yes, however he probably didn't know what would happen to him in the future, but rather his feelings for her and not really all his memory.
I doubt. The reason on why the first show was so popular was not because of the plot (although was different at…
They are. But I'm answering your point of "if this came out before strong girl bongsoon, everyone would've ate it up. " It wouldn't. Because in other for a plot like this to be a successful the author would need to either give us a good romance or not a romance at all.
For example, if they give us "Behind your touch" couple vibes (where we only get a glimpse of "romance" in the end, but had them knowing each other and have fun interactions), then the drama would be better.
The real problem is what someone up here said, we don't really know what this drama is.
I doubt. The reason on why the first show was so popular was not because of the plot (although was different at the time and I give you that), but rather a number of factors that this one lack.
1) Main Leads's chemistry. You can see the chemistry coming from Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young. This is not true for this couple at all (honestly her parents actors have way more chemistry than them).
2) In Strong Woman the main plot was about the couple. In this one is the family as a whole as well the drug thing. So, the audience might differ since most of people who watched Strong Woman would do because of the romance. And in this one, the romance is weak.
3) The couple's story. Strong Woman couple had a lot of good, funny and meaninful scenes. Also, you could see their struggles in every aspect. While this couple everything is either easy or meaninless.
4) The female characters. In Strong Girl all women are Mary Sues. In Strong Woman, although we do know Bo Young's character was strong, she didn't give the Mary Sue's vibes. Saying that, I don't really have a personal hate for the Female Lead on this one, however I rolled my eyes for almost everything the women in that family does.
5) Male Lead. I do think that one of the reason on why people loved so much this show was due to how Park Hyung Sik acts. And in this drama, the guy who have the most potential to do that is Byeon Woo Seok and he is the villain.
Those are just some reasons I can think of. But if I need to highligt the most important one is the focus of the plot. Which changed the audience a lot.
Okay thee only 3 things this drama has that would make you watch (but skip everything else for how trash it is).
1) Nan Soo's father and his interaction with his kids. 2) Shi Oh (I swear, the show would be way better if he was the main guy and not Hee Shik) 3) Brother's plot and Father's plot in general.
It seems to me that, unfortunately, she lost her memories. Saying that, I do think that she knew what to do before she lost the memories just that she didn't have time to it.

Easily the best drama in a very while.
I just said the last time I liked a drama was in Flower of Evil time. In other words 2020.
