Damn, I had not idea they were adapting it as a live-action. 😳

Disappointing that it's just a movie, and not a series.

I've been a C-drama slump for 2 months now, the dramas are boring but this is my most expected release. I hope it lives up to the hype.

Yeah, the only reason I could see a S3 is if Suho comes back and Baek Jin, or else better left this season as the ending one, it felt like a downgrade from season 1.

I don't think he cares either that's why I wish him the worst death, the only thing he fear is his own.

Ok. I finished episode 19. Let me just say, YEEEES. ONE DOWN, THREE TO GO. I don't care about this family in the slightest, they can all go to hell. I hope the father will get the worst death of all, because he really killed everyone, and turned the last people standing in his family into horrible human beings.

Anyway, her father is not only responsible for the grandfather's death, but also for blaming his innocent daughter, sending her away, tearing her from her mother's arms, breaking his wife's legs to lock her up with him, but also ultimately killing his own daughter and the family of his wife. GODDAM. This man is truly awful. I've never seen such father in C-dramas.

Edit. AND NOW KILLING THE MOTHER AND MANIPULATING THE EMPEROR TO HAVE FU YUN XI PROTECT HIM. THAT'S SICK AND TWISTED OMG.

I'm loving this ngl. Dramas feel a lot predictable but this one has constant twists and turns. 😁

Honestly, I suspected Fu Yun Xi when all the nobles were gathered, what better way to stay hidden than to be the investigator himself, finding scapegoats while keeping suspicion off his back? Zhuang Han Yan’s mother’s revenge plan was perfectly timed; he could have pinned everything on the father, who was guilty anyway, and walked away unscathed, even with a promotion. But the officials were fixated on the last remnant being a man in his 40s, so I dismissed my suspicions. And yet, here we are, turns out my instincts weren’t wrong.

Now, I’m really curious to see what Zhuang Han Yan will do. If I were in her position, I’d at least use this to secure a divorce for her mother, then confront Fu Yun Xi later directly.

Tbh, as of right now, the ML isn't put in a situation where I expect big reactions/emotions from him. Everything so far has been relatively under his control or with his awareness. The moments he'll start being caught unaware, feel and see his people hurt, then we'll get more of him. Even as he falls in love.

I just hope the FL doesn’t sabotage her mother's plan too. What’s done is done, her father and stepmother have caused irreparable harm, far beyond what she even knows. While it’s unfair that she’s been stripped of the chance to truly know her parents, they have their own burdens to bear. If her mother doesn’t succeed now, she’ll try again and only grow to resent her daughter. This feud runs deeper than she can grasp, and she needs to let it go. IMO, her future lies with Fu Yun Xi, his daughter, and his family, she’ll find her place among them.

And I'm left speechless by the ending of episode 12. Seriously, I think that's the first time I've witnessed such a twist. I don't know what to do now until tomorrow's episode lol.
