Never watched the series but I just saw an edit of Joo Ha and Do Yoon, and all I will say is I would absolutely watch a spin off dedicated to those two. Just saying, their chemistry was off the chart.
Overall, Korean BL are missing out so much by doing less than 8 episodes with not even 40 min in it. Can't wait for the day we will cross that bridge.
Just discovered this actor, it's insane to me that he has so many series yet to be released, there's so little to watch him as Male Lead, I wish I could see more. I hope his series 'Last Immortal' has pushed his popularity enough to get more interesting scripts and roles, he's such a good actor.
Edit. It got me to read the novel, and it makes me even more mad about the censorship, so many BLs have been filmed and held on for years, I wish they would release it at least internationally.
I heard people talking a lot about a season two, but coming here it seems like it's unlikely, what a bummer, the fact that this series was released is a miracle in itself, I was hoping for another one. 😭

She doesn't really "end up" with him, as she leaves at the end of the season, but she makes it clear that she loves him, he's the one she's always loved, and leaves open the possibility for the two of them to pick things up after she lives her life a bit. Basically, they consider each other the love of their lives.
Wild that the two main characters are having so soon another drama together, but I hope we get to see their acting skills properly explored, I wasn't a fan of Roh Jeong Eui's cold demeanor in 'Hierarchy' and it hindered her chemistry with Chaemin.

If you're a Chaemin fan, watch the series, I didn't even know he wasn't a lead role until I saw your comments, for me he was the main lead, with the FL, the other 3 characters are also main but not as much as Chaemin and the FL. I think they had to put Kim Jae Won as main lead because he's the one whose background and daily life is really exposed, while most scenes we have of Chaemin's character are when he's at school, we don't really know much about Chaemin's character other than his motivations, he remains mysterious.
I just hope season 2 will give him more time outside of school. But yeah, of the main cast, Chaemin and another actress are the only ones to stand out with their acting, the rest was dull.

He's basically the main protagonist since the story does revolves around him, just in terms of romance, he's not the one the FL is going to choose despite her feelings for him, and ultimately, he should have been, the other one is absolutely toxic. This series' ending let us think that a second season will happen, they've seemed to prop him up against the other male lead.
I just hope Chaemin gets the bigger and better role after this one.
Shen Yu Rong is losing it. But I appreciate that for once, we are not dealing with a husband who hated his wife in disguise or who loved her and forgot about her. We can see the mental toll of his actions, he even becomes violent and resentful towards his sister, as much as he hates himself.
Is it me or Wang Xing Yue is overselling it, the whole persona of the mysterious guy who is righteous and ruthless. The scenes where he appears are exaggeratedly slow down to take a 'perfect shot', most of the time he is like a statue, lazily drinking tea on a chair or using his fan, that smirk in front of the camera made me cringe. I need to see something more engaging from him. I know it's just the beginning, but the cold guy persona is really out of character it seems in terms of interpretation.
