I loved the ending in a way, plenty of action and terrible moments, it's clearly hinting a season 2, not only where we would potentially follow Jiyong as a police officer who lack belief in the police, but we will explore some characters stories, notably Cho Kang OK where the "CEO" is mentioned.
As Nam Joo Hyuk is ending his military service next year around fall, I believe he'll start filming after that, and likely to have S2 in late 2025. Fingers crossed.
What a weird comment section, I love Lee Jong Suk, probably one of the few actors that can make me tune in romance series, if you don't like him, move along, it's not for you. As for me, I hope he'll do a bit more dramas, been waiting so long for his comeback and I want to see him eventually in a thriller production again.
I pray that there is a second season planned after he comes out of the military cause it would be a damn shame, this series is amazing, I don't mind waiting 2 years for it. Nam Joo Hyuk needs to do more thrillers and action series, I don't mind the romance ones but it's not that thrilling.
I love that Jiyong is discovering a spider web, it's not overly complicated for some people to follow, and it makes it more entertaining to have a big fish to catch. Jiyong and Cho Kang Ok joining hands together is exciting, I never seen a show that will have the protagonist work with his copycat. The journalist is also crazy, like everyone in this show, but her calling out that cop in the last episode was great lol, she doesn't give a shit.
Luoyang, The Blood of Youth, The Ingenious One, The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, The Rise of Phoenixes, The Longest…
I don't know exactly if this will satisfy your requests but I recommend series that are themselves mostly in my waiting list, they are more serious, without Wuxia mostly, more melodramatic : Ming Dynasty, A Dream of Splendor, Destined, The Legend of Hao Lan, The Glory of Tang Dynasty, The Empress of China, Royal Nirvana, The Princess Wei Young, The Legend of Xiao Chuo (haven't seen it yet, but I liked the trailer), The Wind Blows From Longxi, The Rebel Princess, Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, The Legend of Dugu, Secret of Three Kingdoms.
So Apart from JOL and the other SSS... Snow Sword Stride, does anyone know which other drama has a smart male lead…
Luoyang, The Blood of Youth, The Ingenious One, The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, The Rise of Phoenixes, The Longest Day in Chang'an, Nirvana in Fire, Love Like the Galaxy, Story of Kunning Palace.
Came here cause I saw some clips going around with Byeon Woo Seok, he looks amazing as an antagonist but with the reviews, I already have a hard time with cheesy romcom, this one sound worst than it supposed to be, so I'll pass and tune in the next role Byeon Woo Seok will have as main actor, hopefully.
Isn't obvious in the last quarter of the fourth episode, he figured it out ─ that's why he cornered him, to telling him to stop doing this. While to the professor, he said that he's gonna frame a worthless piece of shit as the Vigilante because if Jiyong is caught, not only he is handsome and well-mannered but he's also a cop, people will root for him.
I think this is one of the drama that I actually like all the main characters, especially Ji yong, Kang Ok and…
That's an interesting theory about Kang Ok, I never read the webtoon but I could see that. It's really the first time I see a copycat actually portrayed as actively trying to protect the person they copy (so far), generally these maniac go wild when they are rejected in series. I'm really excited to see how it will go.
Oh, it's getting interesting, a psychopath and maniac CEO being a crazy fan of Jiyong, and the police getting closer to him, Cho Heon wanting to disparage his image and journalists wanting to protect him, it's a beautiful mess and I love it.
The thing is, as I said it's at night, and unless these people know who he is, they can hardly concentrate to memorize him, let's not even mention the traumatic aspect of it. After the end of episode 1, he basically just straight up kill them, so previously I think the pervert surgeon and maybe the two guys harassing the mother and child saw his face. For the two guys, he basically beat the shit out of them quickly before they could take in his face (plus it was in the dark) and the surgeon was scared enough to leave, so he's unlikely to snitch on the features he might have seen, fear takes over rational decisions. Maybe it will come back around to bite him in the ass in the later episodes (I haven't read the webtoon but I imagine they uncover his identity at some point).
The reviews aren't great, I wanted to know what kind of drama it is, light-hearted or dark themed ? Jiang Long doesn't inspire me one bit, so how's ZLH's character ?
It's so good, looking forward the next episodes, NJH is doing a nice job so far and YJT just entered the ring, I was never convinced by his acting and so far, still isn't but at least he does embody well a corrupt cop.
