TBH her voice is unique and distinguishably and befitting Esther Yu. As you've pointed out, her speaking tone used in this drama is pretty normal, not cutesy like in that devil period drama. If the producers, directors and sponsors didn't find her voice A Okay, wouldn't they have used someone else's voice by now?!
