sorry, but his name is Zhang Zhe Han, not Zhang Zhan. Due to the initial controversy and subsequent issues, it'll be difficult to re-establish himself in China as i believe cnetizens are an unforgiving lot.
Like some of us are trying to figure out the English title...
In Chinese, Butterfly Lovers depict tragic romance, as the legendary lovers Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai turn into butterflies after death. Does this drama title with a past tense indicate a better chance for this married couple?
However, I'm confused by its native title 风月变 (Wind Moon Change). Can Chinese literate viewers please enlighten me?
Why is the rating so low? Is it that bad?? Has anybody watched it?
This is one of those few productions that i chanced upon and liked. Since it's still on air, i'll have to put it on hold and wait for the remaining 12 episodes to binge watch all at one go.

Yup, unless the story/production is really good, such short-length web dramas will not have an average rating at the start of its release. I myself won't even bother to watch further when i see the drama is only 5 to 8 minutes in length

Not many scenes, didn't really count them, maybe around 6 to 7 times, also less than 1 min each time. No backstabbing or sabotage, just being rude & black face towards SZ,

Jiang Ying has very minimal interaction with the lovebirds: = 1x with SZ and DJX in the restaurant - 1x when SZ is leaving DJX's residence - 1x when she approaches SZ at the KTV - 4x seeking out DJX All her scene appearances in the presence of SZ &/or DJX are less than 1min Nothing malicious or harmful from her
Xiao Yu - reporting manager during SZ internship At most, more work to be done and some hurting words, but nothing harmful to the lovebirds
Wang You Shuo finally gets a drama where he is THE only main lead. I saw his potential in Ruyi Pavilion and just…
i know i've seen ML in other dramas. On checking his profile, I still can't recall his role in those dramas, but he definitely has an unforgettable face. Hope he make a breakthrough with this drama, but so far, this role seems to be a stone faced, emotionless character. Hopefully, it gets better as we progress further into the story...
For those wondering how Ryuto died, I think it was from the head injury he sustained at the beginning of the movie.…
Hi Maggi64. besides the head injury and his overworking himself long hours and insufficient rest, he's also basically a weak person when young (his mom mentioned this). So, all the underlying physical issues he already had could have been aggravated by his not resting enough but still doing heavy manual jobs in the day. His sideline job is not sitting by the desk but lifting heavy stuff.
Yes, i do agree that subbers do omit translating certain stuff at times and/or giving us wrong interpretation of what was said. Only people who are literate in both Japanese and English can tell the difference.
