Like some commented earlier, I too would rather see an endgame in MQC and FSY than master+disciple. Why so?
Cud it be that we hardly see FSY doing any real evil thing other than torturing his captive and the act of defiling to bend her will.... What we saw from the beginning to the end were villains and betrayal from her own clan, her subordinates and higher-ups! FSY even appears to be reasonable in that he's not harsh to his puppet killer when she erred in following the wrong person...
Although the age gap between Master Mo Wang and disciple Prince Jing isn't very big, at most 10 years, I would prefer for their relationship to be kept as masterful teacher and faithful disciple without any romance.
