so, the life cycle & characteristics of the demon featured in this drama:
1# golden finger nails
2# they do age and are perishable, just like human beings
3# once they die, they turned into a pool of water
4# the water is the rebirth of a newborn baby!!!
5# demons won't die even when they willingly give up their Nèi dǎn 内胆 aka Qi (life force /prana/sen /spirit) to save one's life!
6# after giving up their Qi (life force), they just need to hibernate and stay dormant for 20 long years.

If he's not, how could he have survived a shot right into his skull?!

Why was this titled DEMON girl? Was there any demonic scene? Anyway, is Ming Xia some special breed?

Unless they change the format and storyline, any follow up would just be another flop. Thank goodness, i didn't waste much time on both seasons.

After Nie QingCheng gave up her inner strength to Si KongJing, she's supposed to hibernate & remain dormant for 20 years. Mind you, 20 not 2. But when Ming Xia went to her frozen lake, he's looking the same young Ming Xia - not a bit aged.

One touch from him cracked the ice and the winged girl popped out and flew up, up, up and away!

It's not an implied happy ending but just another season finale cliffhanger for a "To Be Continued"... if the screenwriter has new plots to add to an already lousy script!

Why do viewers took the ending as a happy one? Guess it's their hope for the pair to end up together and disregard S2 finale being a flop.
