Can they please stop putting dramas on Kocowa in Europe? Such a useless platform with a minimal reach. Who even has a subscription for that? Choose either Viki or Netflix.
Kdramas always find a way to mock other people’s culture, religion, beliefs, education, ethnicity, skin color,…
Not sure where that "mocking" part is exactly you are speaking of. Nobody in the comments can explain that part. They took a name and some lore that's basically it. This drama was greenlight by a billion dollar corporation named Netflix. Do you really think it would air if it was in any way disrespectful? Get a grip.
Religion and culture are sensitive topics and it's clear that most writers not just South Korean writers tend…
Imagine thinking religion is somehow rooted in "reality". People are so fragile about their cultures these days. Just take it for what it is a fictional Korean drama and move on. What a victim mentality.
How about dont fucking use religion for entertainment? Yall be using our religion then has the audacity to say…
Try thinking for once before you open your mouth! That pathetic delusion that you somehow own this lore is ridiculous. Deal with it and move on. Stop playing the victim.
Arabs and other Muslims are downvoting it because they think making a fictional drama is somehow sacrilege or something like that. Just don't watch if you think that. The characters have great chemistry which is what matters. Why care if this story has elements from other cultures?

SO... Are 16 to 24 ep K dramas officially dead and buried now? I remember a time when SK knew how to make addictive…
The biggest problem are the rising costs of the last few years. A lot of money was pouring into the productions. That's why Netflix is caping the appearance fee for their actors now for example. But I don't agree that every 16 or 20 episode drama was well balanced in the past. There were a lot of filler storylines and characters. So shorter doesn't always mean it's a worse show.
This drama is a powerful story of ambition and resilience. Set during the tough period of the 1980s South Korean dictatorship and widespread poverty, the characters are determined to lift themselves up and achieve their own dreams. The lead actresses are outstanding, their close female bond bringing a beautiful and sentimental vibe to the series.
