I’m trying not to be too greedy when it comes to Xiao Zhan’s acting career. Especially since he’s the type of serious actor that will study his characters for weeks/months b4 going to film. But I think it’s reasonable to want 2 dramas per year at least. 😉

Heard there has been some movement for his next rumored drama. It’s still a melon but I’m excited to see what happens in the coming weeks. 👀

I’m really excited for the fight sequences. I heard the choreography is incredible. And the sets that we’ve seen are stunning. We already know the acting is going to be amazing. So we’re for sure getting a visual feast. I can’t wait. 💕

Just want to get this off my chest. We all know that Xiao Zhan has a huge fandom and that everyone has different opinions. But if a so called “fan” goes to EVERY single one of his pages here on MDL to say that they don’t like the drama he’s already starring in and don’t want him to star in another drama his name is possibly attached to then yes I’m questioning if you really are a fan.

How is it possible that you only have negative things to say about every new project he’s attached to? So excuse me if I’m not buying what you’re selling. In Weibo antis will pretend to be fans just to scold him and try to drive away potential new fans and drama watchers. So why should I give you the benefit of the doubt here?

I just want to enjoy my time as a fan without having to worry about shady individuals. There’s a difference between constructive criticism and being a hater. And if the only thing you can do is be negative then you’re the latter. ✌🏽

I’ve been rewatching both trailers because I’m dying to meet Shi Ying. And the chemistry between Xiao Zhan and Ren Min is so good! Xiao Zhan’s ability to have chemistry with all his costars is a testament to how good of an actor he is. He never disappoints. I have a feeling this fictional pairing is going to wedge its way into my heart and stay for a very long time.

Heard the fight choreography is amazing. Xiao Zhan has this grace and poise about him. I can’t wait to see him in action. He always delivers.

I respect your opinion but I disagree. I’ve followed him since 2020 also and I’ve noticed a change. So I stopped following him.

Unfortunately Marcus Sim is also biased. I used to follow him but he changed his tune. He even shared an anti article when talking about The Oath of Love. ☹️

Zhu Yan, the novel this drama is based on was written BEFORE JOF. So if I were you I wouldn’t be throwing the word plagiarism around especially when you don’t know what you’re talking about. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can people stop with drama comparisons? Master/disciple storyline has been used many times b4 and that’s the only similarity.

Now THAT’s a drama trailer! WOW the cgi looks amazing. I was scared at first bc Tencent has had issues b4 with cgi. But this time it looks spot on. The production value is top tier and the acting is exactly what I expected from an acting powerhouse like Xiao Zhan. I’m also impressed with Ren Min. The action scenes look incredible. And I’m really happy with the dubbing. Glad it’s XZ’s real voice. The angst is going to be deliciously painful. I REALLY can’t wait.

The Oath of Love rating broke 1.1 for today’s episodes. That is HUGE. This is amazing! 🤩
