Finally got around to watching this drama and so glad I did! I had misgivings at first, especially about the FL (not her acting. Thought she did great! But, rather her character). But, I was glad to see not only the growth in her character, but, the three leads. They each did an amazing job and a special shout out to OJS in his roll. Thought he was brilliant in his acting!

Yeah, so far, this version hasn't done a great job of explaining that. I do admit that might be what is making me feel this way.

I can see where you are coming from and admit some of his actions are good. I also agree that we need to not just see the bad in people. I just hate seeing a FL putting up with the type of mean comments he throws at her when he is acting out with jealousy. He's not the type of guy I would want my daughter dating. No, I don't expect the man my daughter dates to be perfect. But I do hope he is someone that shows her the respect she deserves. This drama just rubs me the wrong way with that. Not saying someone else can't find good in it. Just saying, for me, I'm not rooting for the OTP.

Well, that is an indicator that I should never watch the cdrama version if he is the "better" version. To me, his little smiles don't make up for his bad behavior. I'm on ep 9 so maybe he improves a lot, but, I'm not a fan of his personality. He's been a cold jerk to her from the beginning even though the drama hints that he does like her. Makes no sense. I've watched enough kdramas to know that they like to start off the ML looking like a jerk, but, usually they give us some kind of back story as to why. This one doesn't seem to have much of a back story to explain his behavior. Just that he likes her but instead of showing it, he acts like he doesn't.
Furthermore, I am not a huge fan of a FL that continually likes the guy that always treats them like trash. It's refreshing to me when we get a FL that doesn't put up with the ML's trash. This drama definitely doesn't give us that.

I cannot understand why the FL likes the ML so much. He is such a jerk to her. Makes me actually dislike her even more for following him like a puppy dog after he is so rude to her. I like the 2nd ML way more, but, honestly, he could do better by liking someone else.

I enjoyed this drama until the last couple of episodes. The writing went seriously downhill! I'm sorry, but, I find nothing romantic about a guy who pretends to be dead for 5 years and then expects to return and pick up where they left off! It was ridiculous! I personally don't agree with the mentality of going off to suffer alone so your loved ones don't suffer with you. But, I can possibly forgive someone for being that way for a short time. But, to go to the extent of having someone tell them the truth about how you were sick and then LIE about the person dying, that is cruel! And really, if you then expect to show up 5 years later to the person welcoming you with open arms and expect by some miracle they haven't moved on with life.....well, that is just insanity.

I disagree. I would rather people be honest about why they don't like a drama than sugar coat it and say it wasn't their cup of tea. By writing a negative comment they are already saying it wasn't their cup of tea. I would rather hear WHY it wasn't their cup of tea instead of just a blanket statement like that. If a ton of people say it was depressing then it would possibly save me the aggravation of watching it and I can watch something else. And I don't have to listen to them either. If I wanted to check it out anyway, then I can do that. For instance, if the plot seems really interesting or if I really love the actor, there isn't much that people can say to not have me at least check it out for myself. And if I find that I agree with what they are saying, then it saves me time and I feel better about dropping it.

Enjoyed the first 2 episodes. Seems like it will be a fun drama with some mystery. Dying to know our ML's story. Definitely will continue on.

Anyone know if Viki, DF, Kocowa or Netflix is planning on subbing this?

This drama spent way too much time with the OTP apart. I wanted to see them more happy. Not struggling all the way to til the last episode. It was good enough to watch a first time, but, doubt I will ever go back.

Oh, i understand why she is like that. I just find it very frustrating to see all the women in that family bow down to the father when he so does not deserve any of their respect. It's hard to watch everyone allow him to be so horrible and not do anything about it.

Lol, sorry. Misunderstood your comment. Her character bugs me cuz I feel she is too much of a push over. Wish she was a stronger female lead. And i get why she is that way. Her dad is horrible! But, all of it seem so over the top.

Agree. I am dropping. She bugs and I find everything so over dramatic. Feels too much like a soap opera.

I am shocked that the secret has been revealed so soon. And I am surprised that she revealed her true identity to him. Figured that he would find out on accident later on to create more drama.

I agree with everything dayidream said. For these reasons, I am still loving this drama and don't find it to be going downhill.

I've only seen the first 4 episodes but this drama is reminding me of the movie "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle". Seems like the crazy lady that wants her to move in, is actually wanting to take over her life and become the new "mom and wife" to her children and husband.

They actually did mention Yeol in the end. They said they are still looking for him. Don't get me wrong though....not defending the drama at all. I am actually really frustrated with the ending.

Agree with you KatySarang. He definitely was piling up the body count to protect himself from the consequences of his actions, not cuz he feared for his life.

The only thing I can think of is that the writer was competing with the writers of "Lost" (US TV show) on who can have the crappiest ending. LOL
