I'm here to update my thought, lol. I'm now watching halfway, I've to tell I enjoy more each episode. The other…
I love how it has elements of graphic novel/adult comic book in the look and cinematography. Music is on point. Even though it is a bit more graphically violent than my usual action dramas, it fits the darker atmosphere of the drama. Reminds me of a comic inspired Hollywood action movie. Each episode hooks you in.
Instead of editing the last 10 episodes into a crunch, they should have shortened Lanxi's arc. This is indicative…
Me too. I'm really enjoying how bada$$ BFX is in these last 2 episodes. She is very strong, calm and collected, even in the face of tragedy. However, I think it's because she has FLX as emotional support. I really wish there were another 20 episodes. It feels like there is still so much story to tell, especially about the fight to be emperor.
So glad the third prince betray that stupid king, he deserves it!
Did 3rd prince actually betray the King, or was his archers just aiming for FLX? Also, wasn't BFX and her BFF attacking the Capital? Or was that not the same scene?
Can someone explain the significance of the jade pendant at the end of ep 28? Does it have something to do with the evil sect leader/fake 1st gentry Yu?
I think he is unfair toward HFX. I wonder why his father is so insecure and fearful of his son. He is more lenient…
He probably is less weary of 3rd son since he pretends to be incompetent and he is also born of the favored concubine, now empress. He is less forward thinking than the other state leaders since he is more worried about his own position than of the good of the country to have an intelligent and ambitious heir/future leader.
